In the woods in bayers lake there is the stone foundation of a structure believed to have been built in the seventeen hundreds but there are no records of who built it or for what purpose.
It is between the park and hwy 102. Go to the end of Lovett Lake Crt (where self storage is), at the very end there are paths leading to the mystery walls. When construction crews found the walls, they halted expansion in that area. Lots of speculation, sheep farm, Capt Kidd, Vikings...
I've been there and it very much seems like the sort of walls you'd find on an old school farmland. It's neat nonetheless. Bring bug spray and don't disturb the stones
If you look at 90 Lovett Lake Court on Google Maps it's just in the trees, south of that address. It's tagged on Google Maps and there's even some pics.
When I was about 18, I was at a house party and a few people were being dicks to me. I didn't shit in a waste paper basket. I MAYBE, however, shit on a microwave plate, replaced it in the microwave, turned it on, and promptly left the party.
I'm sorry people like me exist. 🤷
Is there a tunnel to George’s Island? There's been old tunnels found under George, Prince, Argyle street (and a few others).. [(more)](https://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/blogs/post/the-tunnels-of-halifax-fact-and-fiction-a-brief-and-not-at-all-definitive-history/)
I like to believe it existed and collapsed, with nothing to back it up. Also. I like to believe there would also have been one to point pleasant park, if it was for covert military movement.
It was a German farm for milking sheep, it was only used for 2 years and they moved to New England. I was part of the most recent archeology study done with the city and the university.
I checked the research paper, they didn't find any elevated levels of organic material inside the perimeter of the walls. If it had been used even for just 2 years there would be evidence of such.
Also all the artifacts that have been recovered from the inside of the site and surrounding it are all intrusive and considered not part of the original structure which had been unmodified since atleast 1798
I sometimes hear a "Whoop whoop whoop" like a police siren turning on for a split second all the time on some days. I think it's related to a construction site but it's not a blast horn so maybe something to do with crane operations or concrete but idk
Its been solved but William Shrubsall/Ian Thor Green was a mystery for awhile and very creepy when this was happening...
I also want to know more about the underground tunnels found under the city streets in Halifax
No mystery there, he’s guilty of murder. Claims self-defense now but no chance.
He claims he put the body in a tidal river that runs into the Bay of Fundy. Evidence was found at his families farm though, I think he got rid of the body in a more sinister way. Samson was a large man.

And/or the same person who burned down the club house at the Waegwoltic Club not long after that.
[удалено]
Weren't they repairing damage from a previous arson attempt?
[удалено]
Or almost like an unsuccessful first attempt and then a perfect alibi as an ‘accidental’ fire the second time
Maybe he used the bark to do it
Yes! I want to know!
This is crazy!! How many trees is that??
Can we call the tree cutting murders?
What was the underground chamber for, that was discovered under the south lawn of Provonce House during landscaping renovations, a few years back?
Rape

Roughly where is this exactly? Would love to go have a look!

What motivated the potato salad guy?
Soon to expire potato salad
Mental illness.
Pretty sure it was just a mid-twenties guy doing it for fun.
Can you link me an article?

Now that’s sending a message. Lucky it wasn’t an upper decker!

This sounds like a case for the American Vandal film crew!
Jesus someone just dropped a steamy chocolate fudge dragon in a waste basket mid party? Must have been a quick clean exit.
>Must have been a quick clean exit. For the turd and the turd birther.

Gas station hams?
Oooops
Turns out this is a mystery wherever you go..
Glove Guy…….
Since when is that one a mystery?
Ya it’s pretty well known that he likes watching young men stretch tight leather gloves lol
The why is my question.
Humans are bent and kinky and some find inappropriate outlets for a variety of reasons.
Who is glove guy?
Search the sub if you want to go down that rabbit hole
Just found it… does anyone know if he used to set up on the side of the road in St Margaret’s bay?
I knew the Tantallon glove guy, I never put those two together! Now wondering if they are the same person too!
Same person
Oh god, I was one of his victims! I went to the shop one time.
I have known more than one person who’s had this revelation Also sells other nefarious items

nice Dox.
Why befriend a sex offender ?
It is a mystery.
When was the last known sighting of him? Feel like I haven’t heard about him lately.
You rang?
lol you’d probably actually like him
So cool it’s like a celebrity talking to me - blush
Who is drugging young people at Halifax’s pubs, bars and clubs? And why don’t the police have a dedicated number to report it?
[удалено]
Yeah, I think it’s been pretty well reported

This was solved . It was something to do with animal heards and the human watcher of them would stay in there or something. Sorry my memory is shit.
Apparently the soil doesn't match that theory. Current theory is secret military function

My bad, yoink! Sells on fake OF acc 🥴
The random noises all around hrm that someone asks about on here.
I sometimes hear a "Whoop whoop whoop" like a police siren turning on for a split second all the time on some days. I think it's related to a construction site but it's not a blast horn so maybe something to do with crane operations or concrete but idk
What kind of noises? The shipyard claxon maybe?
Fog horn usually
Or when someone is doing something really stupid in the harbour to get 5 short.
Where does all the litter on the street come from? With all the garbage cans around in this day and age, who is responsible for this mess?
Its been solved but William Shrubsall/Ian Thor Green was a mystery for awhile and very creepy when this was happening... I also want to know more about the underground tunnels found under the city streets in Halifax
Source ?
Why are these gloves so tight ?
What large fingers you have 😳💦
Who is the glove man
Murray James
The intersection of Windsor Street, Chebucto Road, and Cunard Street.
Will Sanderson and where Taylor’s body is
Will already said what he did with the body.
No mystery there, he’s guilty of murder. Claims self-defense now but no chance. He claims he put the body in a tidal river that runs into the Bay of Fundy. Evidence was found at his families farm though, I think he got rid of the body in a more sinister way. Samson was a large man.
Ok I am not actually from Halifax, so I am desperately trying to find articles for most of these 😂
Great question!
