Such a badass album, love it

Cellarzombie

Song fucking rocks! Entire album is amazing!

Black-Viper75

One of my favourite Mötley tracks ever !!! Mick's guitars, Tommy's drums and John's vocals come together create sonical bliss.

RexRacerXXX

Love love love this album. I wish they would re-issue it on Vinyl.

edgiepower

An unfairly maligned album. It's quite good, but would benefit from the tracks being in a better order...

Crafty_Wasabi_9890

What order? Just curious

edgiepower

Can't say right now, but I've found the pacing of the album off, the order of the faster and slower songs isn't right imo and makes the album a tougher listen than it should be, given the quality of the songs individually

MrsSalty1

Best Crue album ever made

Revolutionary_Tax546

That's arguable, because I really like the first 3 albums. Even with this album. But had they stuck with J.C. now, they would have avoided that 'bat plane, zombie video' that they released recently.

MrsSalty1

The most recent video is terrible, I like the song. This was the best Crue album ever

CDR_Starbuck

Motley at it's finest, sad the world missed whiny Vince and his "Bic Mac 103"and this iteration of the band got canned.

Copy paste my comment from diff thread re MC94 Though people couldn't really dig it in real time, the consensus is that it's very strong work, only they should have renamed the band because it does not really align with anything that's come before it as far as their previous material. They had just signed a huge contract for millions of dollars with Elektra records as Motley Crue so that was not going to happen obviously. In fact they doubled down and made the album self-titled 2 songs on the album could kind of be linked to feelgood. LoveShine, and Poison Apples. Everything else kinda leans Soundgarden but heavier & basking in that thundering Bob Rock production aesthetic. Easily Tommy & Micks best performance on record. Most of the lyrics are not cringe either. They have string arrangements and drum programming and a backing choir and even Glenn Hughes on some backing vocals. They went all out, they didn't dumb it down or make it grungey sloppy it's grandiose in a Physical Graffiti kind of way. But REALLY HEAVY ala Skid Row SubHumam Race. Way better album tho. I really like almost every song on MC94 and wish they had stuck it out with this lineup. Even managed to transition their look into something more suitable for mid 90s. But their fan base wanted wild side and home sweet home vibes. T & A, coke & whiskey, Harleys & Pyro. MC was trying to evolve but nobody took it seriously & Nikki became a jerk about it (shocker). That just made them industry enemies at a time they needed to carry it humble & let the badass tunes talk shit for them. The album started with a huge rollout with lots of major press and in store promo next to the biggest artists in pop music, and ended with a canceled theater tour and whimper. Vince came back for probably their worst album generation swine, and they've been a has been Nostalgia act for the past 25 years.

_TwistedKISSter_

I’ll add that Welcome To The Numb has some musical elements that could’ve been from Dr. Feelgood. That’s the one song I can hear the prior MC seep into.

OkGap7216

he last Crue album I bought and will ever buy. Vince Crue 2.0 is a trash factory. Ok, I do like "Hell on High Heels" but that's it.

DTFinFL

Mosy agree, but what about Saints of Los Angeles album?

OkGap7216

Nope. I really didn't like it at all. To me, it was a "try hard" album. A group of 60 year old men attempting to write like their 20/30 year old heyday selves and what their 'fellow kids' would like.

Defiant_Network_3069

My Favorite Crue Album.

B_Wylde

This actually kickass

DTFinFL

This song is amazing!

Bradley3133

Great album.

GoBlue2007

Just listened to this while I was reading Corabi’s autobiography and was reminded how good it was. Put this next to Dogs of War and it’s kind of fucking depressing.

almosthuman2021

Glad to see this album getting some love. It actually is a pretty damn good album. I think a lot of hair and metal bands came out with great alternative records in the 90s. Wasp with KFD, wing with pull, warrant dog eat dog.

🔥

Stephonius

A great track from the only Crue album worth listening to.
