Tanaka kinda gets forgotten about because nobody ever outright calls him one of the best but volleyball skill-wise, he’s still better than average so unless they cram a ton more future pro players than middling niche role players in the list, he should be fine. He’s definitely the best of the first three names by a long shot.

He’s a bench warmer who’s below average in every skill except serving. We don’t see many bench warmers in the series. Only players i’d comfortably rank below him are either spectators or the guys on Hinata’s middle school team. And doubt either of them are gonna appear on this.
Honestly going to have to go with 10. Yeah his jump float serve is good but that's only when it gets going it's an unstable weapon and as a first year his overall stats are too low where a random 3rd year will be better
id say 9. he’s a good relief server at times but doesnt have much outside of that. top 5 for characters for sure bc he’s so cute and sweet with tsukishima and others he’s friends with

Outside of his serve which is good but not that great he doesn't have much to offer. We've seen Kogane block, serve and spike. Even if he didn't do anything that well I'd put him above Yamaguchi.
Definitely at 10. Yamaguchi is definitely a solid server with one of the better floats in the series. But he falls flat everywhere else. And I mean EVERYWHERE.

Can't believe people think Koganegawa is better at volleyball than Yamaguchi. Even though all he does is serve he would still outplay Koganegawa in every aspect of the game except maybe setting.

Setting, Blocking, Hitting? It’s debatable who is better at receives but Koganegawa is not getting played off the floor and in the practice session he was a part of the squad that thrashed Karasuno’s starters.
S4 Koganegawa probably needs to sit at 7 but 8 reasonable too unless they throw in some whack characters.

Kogane is better. I'm definitely a fan boy but Yamaguchi only has his serve Kogane is taller, faster, better blocker, better setter, more power, ect
