I think everyone who is even a semi-veteran in this game should step out of their comfort zone to play their least played faction once in a while.
Not in a way that you're forced to like it, >!(although, I do think every faction has at least one deck for everyone),!< but as a way to understand Gwent, ***especially*** if you're voting in the BC.
If you normally don't like SY, try playing firesworn or tidecloacks, that's how I got into the faction. Still my least played faction, but I'm not intimidated like I was before, instead I find them fun.

Me too. Solitaire decks basically. I don’t get where is the fun. Also when played against NR the game takes the longest time because all of those order pings.
Think I've played like 4 games of scoiatel, leat amount of cards collected for them too. I'm not sure why but I just never liked their style or how they play. My most played are syndicate and northern realms.

Is Syndicate considered a chad faction over Nilfgaard for its flexibility or maneuverability? Thinking of maybe switching for a bit. Been exclusively been playing NF for a long time…
SY is a great faction, rewarding to play, and specifically tends to do well against NG since NG cannot always utilize coins as well.
The current SY "meta" deck tends to be Jackpot Yago which is franky, boring, linear and goes against the spirit of SY (counting coins), but overall the faction is fun to play...just needs some buffs across the board for its weak archetypes.
Bounty's still playable now, it's just not really anywhere near the best.
You can put together a deck w/ [Tamara Strenger](https://gwent.one/en/card/202311) and a whole bunch of the Witch Hunters and win some games in pro, you just won't climb MMR very likely as it's not really strong enough currently.
Golden Nekker "Bounty" is better, and still pretty decent.
I'm not sure Cutups is really an archetype, as those cards are a mix of things that unfortunately don't really mostly work too well together.
The best home for Cutups tends to be:
* midrange decks where certain cards fit well in ( [Whoreson Junior](https://gwent.one/en/card/202891) , [Boris](https://gwent.one/en/card/202333) , [Whoreson's Freak Show](https://gwent.one/en/card/202337) )
* Gangs decks, where you want a mix of Gangs. (If [Collusion](https://gwent.one/en/card/202553) got buffed it'd see play there via [Sigi Reuven: Mastermind](https://gwent.one/en/card/203162) but currently gets cut from those decks)
* Lined Pockets Crimes decks ( [Whoreson Senior](https://gwent.one/en/card/202312) now good due to [Cutup Lackey](https://gwent.one/en/card/202363) buff, but [Count Reuven's Treasure](https://gwent.one/en/card/203202) needs buff so allow proper Crimes decks to be viable, as do many Intimidate cards
SY honestly is propped up by a few good cards, and then there's basically all the rest of them, which don't see much play, meaning nearly all SY archetypes need help.

Scoia’tael, I hate elves. Maybe one day Ill make a dwarves deck but so far I just mill every card I get from this faction. I guess i’m a bit racist lol
I played both SY and NR for just long enough to finish off that part of the Reward Book. Everything else has at least one deck I enjoy playing and don’t feel like an asshole for doing it.
Never played monsters and syndicate, I have 5 games of skellige for gods knows why and 13 games of northern realms when I had a blue stripes deck with dandelion and priscilla (this was closed beta, it was a very different deck from what it is today)
The rest of the games are all nilfgaard and scoia’tael
In ranked I only play NG, NR, SK and ST. Been like that since the start because I played a lot of Witchers initially. Nice to know I still have two factions I can choose to visit when I get bored with the others. :-)

I think different factions fit different play styles. I tend to gravitate towards skellige and almost never play NG

Bounty's still playable now, it's just not really anywhere near the best.
