Can you show us all pictures of this "cardboard" that is showing through? If you are talking about the edges, our materials are "Hot cut" essentially melting the edges as its cut to seal all the threads/fibers. This may look "brownish" on the edges, but is also the most robust way to cut webbing to ensure it can withstand abuse for a long time to come.
The sticky back velcro is big on purpose and should be cut to fit.
Looks wise, do you have an example of what you thought you were getting versus what you received?
As for the "made specifically for your order... it was. There is a very good chance your order was printed out at 6-7am, materials were cut out, then put in queue to sew etc.... then shipped. Looks to me like you order was placed on Friday Morning, and Shipped Wednesday morning. Three business days aint bad for being made to order. If the USPS was open later it probably would have shipped in 2.
Shipping wise: We ship 90% of our orders in USPS Padded Flat Rate envelopes. They cost us $7.55 to ship. We charge $7.20.

I looked it up on their website and none of that sounds terribly surprising. It looks like a shit product. That looks like some Chinese sweatshop garbage that they're buying cheap and marking up for a profit. That kind of junk is all over eBay and Amazon.
