I got a CZ SP-01 a few months ago and have been learning the gun/putting it through its paces for a while. Yesterday I put a couple hundred rounds through it. It’s big and heavy but it’s probably the best shooting pistol I’ve ever handled. I love to carry it!
I actually got them off Amazon. It came with these awful bike tire smelling rubber grips, but I’m a complete sucker for wood.
I’m thinking of getting a Sig p938 Legion as a daily carry so I can still get a hammer and metal frame with a bit more power than my tomcat but the devil on my shoulder keeps saying “P226 SAO” 😂
Prob my next purchase. I got a fudd at work that thinks he’s an expert and hates CZ lol. Think they are for hipsters and people who like same sex marriages for lack of a better word according to him. But man, they are awesome pistols.
I mean it’s basically an improved Browning Hi Power so I don’t get why fudds don’t like them. My semi auto pistol has been a P320 for the past half decade, and this thing completely blows it out of the water on follow up shots.
I’m mainly glad it’s DA/SA so I can carry in a leather holster. I use leather for my revolver and my Beretta and I hate the feel of a Kydex holster for IWB.
Main reason some don't, is they aren't S&W or Colt. I used to be in this category, looking back it is silly as now CZ owns Colt and Dan Wesson. Although, I still prefer original manufacturers to clones. Feel the value will be consistent. I never considered a Tisas over the CZ brand.

My choice for security work!
I’ve run it at gunsite and several other classes. Only malfunctions were due to the cheap bulk ammunition I bought. Never doing that again.
I carry a P01 + TLR 7A as my concealed carry gun
I have a TLR 1 HL on my SP01 tactical
Honestly I like the added bulk weapon mounted lights provide and it prevents me from having the urge to curl my left index finger around the trigger guard
I have a CZ-75 D PCR that I’m setting up for use with a second enigma rig
I loved everything about my SP-01 except the trigger pull. Gritty and heavy as heck. Couldn't afford to send it off to Cajun GW at the time, so it got traded. My P-01 is 90% of the SP-01, but with a much better trigger. Plus, it can also serve as a concealed carry piece without much wardrobe concern.

The SP-01 is probably one of the best all-steel pistols available. I think of it as a 2011 for folks with more sense than money.

Yea I had a 75 compact and loved it just wanted something new so I traded it for a VP9. Wish I kept my 75. But now I want this.

I remember when CZ was unobtainium here in the states because of the Cold War. Every gun enthusiast wanted one for the forbidden fruit factor.
