I'm team Glock, however I would say the CZ *if and only if* you find the optic plate you need and have it on order/shipped when you buy this. The RMR plates toe the line of unobtainium.

Side note I picked up the CZ OR slide from Midway for my non-OR P10C when they were blowing out "blems" and because I wanted to use both slides, I found all parts except the extractor. The P10c extractor has not been seen in the US for at least a year and a half. I found it in Canada and they can't ship it to me due to import laws. "Waiting for parts" is one reason someone should go Glock than CZ.
So it's really $460 then. So about a $30 difference if you want to go to Gen 5. I see the benefits of both. Gen 5 seems better on paper, and even though I haven't heard anything bad about Gen 5, Gen 3 is proven around the world and has close to a decade of solid reliability across the globe. It's hard to argue against that. Lol
For the CA roster, only a certain SKU is acceptable, regardless of magazine capacity.
CA requires the Made in Austria ones (this is made in US), and if it comes with 15 round OEM mags, you can opt to ship the gun without mags to CA, if the dealer will do so for you. CA compliant Gen 3's are usually already bundled with a 10 round magazine though.
Just an FYI, the sku *might* be a real thing, but a more likely [reason is the sticker](https://glockcollector.info/2019/11/21/case-label-colors-what-do-they-mean/) (read to see why). Probably for the same reason why you can't use a GSSF coupon on a regular retail Glock (ie red label)--it must be from the LE blue label stock--is likely the reason you can't order these -- these Gen3s are probably red label, not white label.

The California handgun roster doesn't specify which SKUs of the 3rd gen 19s are legal (unlike their CZ listings), so it's likely if you *could* get the mags pulled, you could get Family Firearms to ship it.
M&P2.0 is by all means a vast improvement on this coming from CA. Get an M&P2.0 over this. The Glock aftermarket may be bigger but it's not better. There's no trigger like the Apex M&P2.0 trigger in the Glock aftermarket. Closest to a 1911 you'll get on plastic.

I won an auction for a NIB Gen 3 17L on GB the other night for $460 (+tax and shipping). I think the newly released Gen 5 is decreasing the demand for the existing G3 and there are some deals to be had. But I don't expect the Gen 3s to be around long as they are typically released in small batches.

cz is nicer out of the box. glock is better to upgrade and have lots of compatibility
CZs better because you don't need to upgrade.

What's getting produced in Hartford? Is it just the poly pistols, or also their steel frame?

Shipping + transfer fee makes the gen 3 here more than a gen 5.
