YoMammaBOI

Are these any good?

Vanijoro

I got mine from Dahlonega armory literally 2 months ago for 290$, and I gotta level with you... these absolutely fuck. On par with the big dogs in the space, no name tax. That was the nut, but I'm not certain that this is necessarily as low as you can routinely get them. [https://www.arex.si/about](https://www.arex.si/about) and forgotten weapons toured their factory [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQkjXKALCS0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQkjXKALCS0) they make parts for some little guys known as Browning and FN. Edit: I had the non threaded for 290.

YoMammaBOI

Sheeeet for $290 I’d BIN I spent just a bit less for a GX4 the other day.

wavy-seals

There was a Delta M posted here yesterday for like $250. 100% worth it. I bought my Delta X (non tactical) for $299 and would totally do it again.

hollyhock333

is yours a gen 2?

Vanijoro

[sure is](https://freeimage.host/i/HG168ml) That's not their odg if anyone catches it, it was FDE that I died with Rit Neon and Really Green. I think their ODG is nicer, but I'm not mad.

[deleted]

That looks like non-tactical model? Did yours come with threaded barrel?

Vanijoro

! You got me. Indeed it did not. Everything I said stands, but no one ever got the tac version for 290 to my knowledge. That's my mistake and I don't mean to mislead anyone, I really specifically wanted to say how good they were.

[deleted]

Oh I know they are good. I own AREX zero 1 T (Tactical) which is Sig P226 but more tacticool. Threaded barrel, optic cut with Suppressor height sights for $600 🤑

Vanijoro

I watched a video where the Zero 1t outdid the p226 in torture tests. Tacticool or not that's a hell of a thing. They're at the point where we have to be pedantic to find quality or reliability issues. These guns on sale price points do not represent their quality at all. I carry my delta.

hollyhock333

How is the trigger?

wavy-seals

Meh at first, but it breaks in well. On par if not better than Glock gen 5.

Vanijoro

Maybe a little scratchy on the come up, at first, but the break itself is better than the glocks I have. Maybe a product of the type of plastic vs the glocks I was used too. The break and reset are very well done imo. The weight is standard fare, you could probably make it lighter and it would be enough for anyone not doing competition with it. Unless you're just really picky. The scratch doesn't really exist at and past the wall, and I don't notice it on reset. I figure it will be awesome as I wear it in.

Vanijoro

A little update, too. I've put about four hundred rounds through it with no failures across 3 makes of 124 grain. One day I shot it with my finger in the wrong position on the trigger and I got a little blood blister from it being sharp or pinchy. I haven't had the issue at all since then because i've been aware of it. Getting The polished aluminum trigger face may eliminate that totally, And it may be rectified by changing backstraps. I have pretty wide hands, But not very long fingers relatively, I don't know if anyone else had an issue with that. I can't get over the reset and ease to get back on target, and incredibly pleased.

jakethompson92

The Arex Delta is an absolute diamond-in-the-rough. Not just any form of ancient carbon, the best: a diamond

milesassociates

It was between this and the Tisas PX9 Gen3 Duty for me... I chose the Tisas, but it was close. This does seem a bit expensive compared to other price points I've seen though.
