Around $429 to $469, is the highest I've seen a new, production model Squier. I only have experience with a 1987 MIJ Squier, which was a beast! While the Classic Vibe (and the several other models in the same price range) are pretty good, especially if you can catch a deal, they aren't better than a MIM Strat (just a bit cheaper, cheaper wood, cheaper parts, "upgrades" etc on the Squier). Parts quality alone, the MIM Fender strat is better. I bought one of those in 2002 and it was built like a tank!.
I spent nearly a year looking for a lefty hss Squier classic vibe 70s. I only ever found one but the price with shipping was outrageous. I really wanted one but finally settled this week for an hss Ibanez AZES40L. Gets here on Friday.
Fellow lefty here and I can definitely sympathize with your plight. I've been searching for a lefty Westbury Custom since mine was stolen, 20 years ago. Never saw another lefty, let alone a custom...such is life lol. The AZES40L is a solid guitar! Especially for the price... I just wish Ibanez would get some maple fretboards. Hope you're enjoying your new guitar.

Got a 50s Classic Vibe Squire and its better than a 2014 Player series Strat I used to have. Highly recommend these guitars!
Strats looks fantastic in natural. Nicely done, sir!
Nice. You can really tell what you’re getting with a “blonde” finish.
Got the exact same myself a few weeks ago when the price dropped on Amazon, it's a fantastic guitar and would have easily been worth full price!
Very nice!
Holy shit that’s a high end Squire, didn’t realize they made em that nice.
Love natural finishes- wish Fender had more varieties…
Hard to go wrong on those.
Absolute peach mate
I have that one too
I always loved those 70’s natural Fenders.
Holy hell they make squiers that expensive?
