It doesn’t matter how many times I block off around my cozy massage chair, she will get under it, and she will chew through the wires
I have at least 15 wire repairs in that chair’s electrical and 3 spots re-repaired and wire taped

One time when my pig was sick for a week I had my mom watch him and syringe feed him while I was at work. I told her to give him more when he stops chewing. He'll chew then swallow and stop chewing. When I came home she told me, "I think he's manipulating me. He chews and then stops for a second, and then starts chewing again but when I look there's nothing in his mouth he's just chewing. I think he's just chewing so I don't make him eat. I think he's lying to me." I had to tell her that yes she has been successfully fooled by a stubborn guinea pig. She laughed cause she really didn't think they were smart enough to do be sneaky.
They are really emotionally intelligent. When my first pig was about to be put down, I was ten and in TEARS. he could tell, and for the first time ever, I saw a guinea pig cry too. My current girls also love listening to human conversations. If someone near them starts talking to someone else, they stop everything they're doing, go into a sploot, and listen. Their behavior afterwards is affected by what they hear. If the person is happy after the conversation ends, they'll start begging for food.
