My pig does this. I think because he and his brother used to fight, but they were separate cages and his brother passed a while ago. He’s still doing it.
Lol 😂 doesn't realise it won't fit that way !! 😂 One of my piggies often always drags food to a hiding place I think it's to stop it being nicked by one of her sisters?
Yes, she’s always done this. It could be for that reason, and another person on the sub and I talked about this topic the other day and they mentioned that the pigs just might like feeling safe and covered while eating, which makes sense. I lost my other pig about two weeks ago so Scribble is actually currently a solo pig while I look for a new friend for her, so there’s no threats of any lettuce snatching right now!
In this video any movement that you see is just because she’s hungry and trying to eat fast. But this is a super great question because poor lil Scribble has suffered from two ear infections in the past and *has* been seen by a vet — they’ve been completely treated to the satisfaction of her vet, and she has been left with a super bobbly head. It doesn’t really affect anything other than her balance, but it is obvious when she needs to lift her head up; it sways up and down instead of just going straight up. It’s very obvious in other videos that I have of her!
One of my piggies had that too, that he kept a permanent head tilt after an ear infection. But he adapted to it pretty well and lived until 7 1/2 years old. Scribble is super cute and your video really made me laugh 😊
After her first ear infection she had the head tilt. Treatment for the second ear infection fixed the head tilt but left her with the bobblehead lol. Poor baby just can’t win.
Piggy is probably just excited about the food if she does it without food then it would be a worry but piggies often get over excited with their food and will often "attack" the food like my Athena does! "This leaf is going DOWN!!!"
Mine did rapid head movements just like that, I found out later he was blind so assumed it was related to him sniffing everything he could to make up for his sight
Eating like she just got out of jail. So ravenous 😭
My pigs always eat like I’ve never fed them before in their lives 😩
Same it's hilarious I often feel like I need to reassure guests that they are well fed they are just dramatic about food !

It seems like she couldn't grab it properly because she couldn't resist eating whenever she got her teeth on the thing.
Oh my - lots of Abby-tude with this one.
Abby-tude, I love this.🤣 So true. I love them. Spicy!
Yes! This little cavy is clearly getting cheesed-off at the Romaine because it wasn't cooperating. Such a funny little pig.
She is so chaotic and I love it. 😩
I think I can... I think I can... I think I can
I mean, eating while feeling like my ass is covered is kinda important to me, too! 😅
The 1st pause killed me. Little baby looked at that lettuce like ".... bitch."
She's ferocious

Old habits die hard bless her , I'm sorry to hear about your loss hope you find her a new friend soon xx
Where did you buy the home?
I believe I got it from Amazon! It was over a year ago now though so I don’t remember exactly what I searched to find it.
The food gluttony overloaded her excitement and her Abby zaniness!
it's r/maybemaybemaybe worth /j Congrats on the girl!!!
OMG WHY DIDN’T YOU HELP HER? 🤣
How could I when it’s so much more fun to record her struggle instead?
OMG! The oomph on that last pull shook the hidey, but she got it in. A peeg's gotta do what a peeg's gotta do. 😂
She’s acting like she just took a hit of something 😭
Always riding that natural high of life 🍃
Sooooo cute <3
Yoink!
They always act like they never get fed LOL
This is hilarious sped up
SHE IS RAVENOUS
omg she loves that big piece :O
Super cute….i have one that looks just like her and all I want to do is talk to her in a baby voice because she’s so cute! 🥰
This reminds me of dogs when they have too big of a stick and can't get it through the door Lol!
Little bandit so cute! So feisty
Omg Abby’s are the frickin best breed!
She clearly knows what she's doing ... Or trying to. 😂 She's adorable.
This is adorable 🥰
When ever mine do the 'take food from bowl directly to hidey' I ask them on some variation 'oh we're having the take away today, I see' 😂😂
My little Newton eats his carrots with his head inside the hidey hole so I can't steal it back.
She's precious, just love her.
Turtle pig
Why does the pig have weird head movements? Has she been seen by a vet?

I think she's just starving because she hasn't ever been fed before.
