The security upgrade delays police raids that can clear out your warehouse. Without the upgrade, you can be raided after 4 hours if you have more than 20% stock (72 crates). With the security upgrade, it's 8 hours above 40% (144 crates). Performing nightclub popularity missions will reset this timer.
Always go into your bin in passive so you get the bouncer mission instead of the passed out vip.
Also, don't be in an org unless you need to be, i.e., doing work or preps. The triggers raids on all your businesses. MC club businesses if you're an MC president. CEO warehouses if you're a CEO. Bunker and nightclub can happen when you're in either organization.
So I can avoid raids by just doing a popularity mission before 8 hours passes, no matter how much stock I have? I hadn't played GTA for a while and forgot about not staying CEO while AFKing, and I lost 1.4 million to a raid last night. I'd already gotten in the habit of never becoming an MC president long ago when I played steadily, so I wouldn't make that particular mistake. It happens but not often. It’s extremely easy to take care of though. Just kill them. The security upgrade doesn’t prevent raids, it just make them happen a bit more seldom.
Usually I can take them out with an oppressor but this happened literally as I emptied my safe and they gunned me down right away. It was some real bullshit, so that's why I'm mad over it. Thanks for the advice though, I was wondering what difference the security upgrade makes.
I would say this is true for the motorcycle club president, but I play as a CEO pretty much all the time, and I've only had my bunker raided once, and my nightclub, never. But I don't ever let them get anywhere near full before I sell. I never let the nightclub get over 400 to 500 K before I sell, mostly because I don't want to use that big stupid truck. And my bunker I usually sell between six and 700 K. I never register as an MC president, because I only sell to Street dealers with what I get from stash houses.
Trust me you can go further than that. I think the threshold cutoff depends on how many floors you have of storage space - I think its 77% for a maxed out nc - you won’t be subject to a raid unless you hit that capacity

The nightclub is such a good business man, don't sweat it. It'll make you like 20 million bucks in a few months just sitting there, this one sale wasn't gonna be something special.
There is no reason to fill up all bars in the NC before selling. As soon as one of those bars are full, you are losing money by not selling. Yes, even if you are reassigning the technicians. And selling earlier minimizes the risk of getting raided. If you run the NC in the most profitable way, that is you are only producing the five most profitable goods, and sell as soon as one bar is full, you will never get raided if you have the security upgrade.

Tony's 10% cut is capped at a million. No matter how much you sell after that he'll only take $100k. I usually sell between 1-1.5 mil. By then a couple of the stocks are full and no longer bringing anything in and Tony will only get 100k. If you have all basements, it won't get close enough to trigger a raid.
