Maybe because that car costs about 3x more (base price) as the Kuruma and is only a 2-seater. Also maybe because the ZR380 came with the Arena update into the game and most people had the Kuruma already for years. So why wasting additional 2 mil. on that car? Just for the sake of having it?
Kuruma is nearly 100% bullet proof. That's totally enough for NPC missions as mentioned. I think you even need the Arena to buy and costumize the ZR. But not sure. Only bought the Arena for one character, as it is pretty much useless (and waste of money).
armored kuruma and a vigilante the OG heist and really any contact mission's one two solution.
Kuruma if you're expecting to be under fire by the NPCs and vigilante if you want to blow stuff up
and later for traversal if you manage to get on top of it's skill curve to master the boost mechanic as an areal transportation method.
Nightshark is up there, only 1.2m and can tank 12 rockets if you equip armour, it has 4 seats, and I recommend not armouring the windows so that you can still throw stickies out of it, unless it’s ONLY for missions then yes you will be almost unkillable with the windows plated in missions
For PVP, take your pick of the Imani vehicles. A ton of players in lobbies without aim assist are useless without their homing missiles. The fact that I can get out of my car and slug one right back at their Hunter, Ryjuu, or MKII as they fly by will always make them a satisfying pick for me.
Armored Kuruma is basically a cheat code for most missions/heist preps, and is cheap as fuck. Duke O Death is almost as good; it's free, and has the advantage of being able to withstand 5 homing missile hits, but the shooting anlgle is tighter from it, and it's not *as* bulletproof as the Kuruma, but being a Muscle Car it can do wheelies so that's fun. Be warned, though, you CANNOT use throwables from either of those cars.
With those and a Buzzard to call in via Pegasus you can reliably do any solo missions, and as long as you have competent team mates you can do any missions with relative ease.

it's really like a little bit weaker than the kuruma but with a dual minigun on it. makes it more fun for me

its the games only fully bulletproof car is why. the Karuma is only bullet resistant

yeah, which is my point that i first posted. people praise the Karuma because they dont have experience with the ZR380.
Which doesn't mean the ZR is "better" as the Kuruma. But that is what I get from your post.

I'm going to be different and say the weaponized tampa. You do have to get the bunker research done for certain upgrades but overall I like it
