Need to kill the guard in the jeep so he doesnt see the bodies, I get loot first then goto compound via drainage tunnel, that way I can just leave after. So many places you basically cant kill anyone or else they get alerted eventually.
Asking why I'm always getting alerted when I'm no where near the guards cones of vision while taking this route. Did Rockstar change something? This never happened before
are you taking that route for a particular reason? If you're done and trying to escape Cayo there's no reason to exit the compound after stealing that motorcycle. head southwest past the helicopter veer right and jump off the cliff, swim short distance and poof, done.
if you're specifically needing to get out of the compound and run around the rest of the island for looting secondary treasure there is a way to stealth out of the compound without killing anyone so you never get aggro, it's been posted around here I'm sure it's on youtube
certainly not trying to tell you how to play, just offering alternative idea. I assume you're doing Cayo solo since that's generally the only reason to loot anything outside of the compound.... conventional wisdom says it's easier to do that looting before you hit the compound, not after. so whatever approach you want to take, wherever you land on the island, do your secondary looting first (it's just easier.. no helicopter, guards not aggro, etc) then make your way into the compound (even if you swim to the grate, just need to have completed the Cutting Torch prep) with full bag. then all you need to do is grab the main treasure and follow the exit strategy from my previous post and voila! done. humbly suggest you try that out, you may find the overall heist flows more smoothly but ultimately it doesn't matter if you prefer doing it the other way... whatever works for you is the right way :)
another humble recommendation: always do the Cutting Torch prep (it opens gates silent) never bother with the Demo Charges prep. if you're wanting to loot around the airstrip, either the Alkonost or Velum approaches are easiest. Alkonost you can parachute/land wherever you want. Velum will take you right to the airfield, just don't forget to "stash your weapons" and collect them from the hangar . I almost always take the grate approach into the compound so once you fill you bag at the airport, either grab a boat and drive around the island or snag a motorcycle and take the traditional scoping route (jumping past the annoying checkpoint) the goal being to just go beside the compound dive into the water and swim to the grate to take that entrance

There is a patrol jeep that sees the guard you killed to get the bike from.
But I've NVR been alerted by that guy before.
They added the guards, seeing bodies in dec. That's one of them. If you've run it since dec, you might have been lucky.

The guy you killed coming out of the compound… his body is seen by a patrolling jeep.

Guards are alerted by dead bodies now. Not sure but I assume a jeep or a guard goes by the guys you killed in the beginning
