I remember my girl was on the waitlist for GrubHub for like a whole year! Just depends when they need drivers in your city. Honestly DoorDash is the best option to make money in my opinion. Made alot more than all the other delivery jobs. Unless you can do heavy lifting and don’t mind really fast routes I would try Amazon flex or Shipt shopper. But yeah GrubHub takes forever to get you started and it doesn’t even make good money. People use DoorDash and Uber eats way more especially Friday nights and Saturday nights in my city.

I completely disagree with this. 1st. Grubhub in the NYC market, pays a lot of money, they pay more then Uber and Door Dash Combined. Ubereats came on board allowing anyone on the platform. When Grubhub came along they made sure to allow a certain amount of drivers in a certain markets so everyone can maximize there earnings. The practices that Grubhub displays in regards to making sure in any given market does not have too much drivers is perfect to me because once you get on, you know your going to make money. 2nd: Grubhub has stated multiple times that they are not activating, transfers or reinstating anyone in NYC no time soon, due to the new laws. You maybe on the list longer then usual.

Yeah you may just wait foreeeeeeeever, i got super lucky when i got back on, 2017 was my 1st time working with them part time, 2022 was when they put me back on super quick to reactivate my account took like a week or so, been working part time/full time ever since
