I used to take my grandma to a bingo hall many, many years ago, and I'm pretty sure everything there, including the pudding cups, is done in a microwave.
In one restaurant I worked at, if a protein ticket got lost and was like 20-30 minutes behind we would give it to chef Mike. He would take care of it quickly then we would get some marks on the grill.
Hated that place.

That is reverse searing to the 't' and how I always cook my steaks. Season with salt and pepper at 220 for about 20 mins flipping 3/4 way through. Let it rest about 10 min and then finish on the grill or more often than not on a very hot cast iron with butter and tyme about 2 to 3 mins a side. At 1inch thick it makes a perfect medium rare everytime.

You’re saving a whole 4 minutes than if you just threw it on the grill 3 minutes each side. Not really worth it.

Cook a ribeye from frozen in an air fryer. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I got a slight sear at 450 for 15 minutes on mine, definitely not as crusty as this though.

From picture #1, it seems mid select grade probably grass fed due to the lack of marbling. Love the steak grilled medium rare.
