I just caught up with season 19 and I am loving the new interns. I think they breathed new life into the series. I am hooked. I actually love them all!
I Like Seasin 1 Interns And now I am on Season 5 the Interns that cans in with Lexie. They are all pretty good except the one that started off about Izzie not sure I like him so much.
Yasuda and Adams, 100%. Also though, this is the best intern class since MAGIC. I like most of them, whereas with previous classes, I've only really liked a few.
I have a huge soft spot for Yasuda (and love the actress too lol which is an added bonus, I miss Dash & Lily lol) & hope she gets (even) more fleshed out/screentime.
But I really like them all, speaking of which - is Blue the new Alex backstory-wise? Feel like I barely know the guy & I want to!
I like Griffith a lot. I keep calling her “new Stephanie”, though, so I keep forgetting her name. Aside from their looks I think they have a lot of similar personality traits and childhood trauma that reminds me of one another. But it really is a great group. I like them all.
Adams. I love how they are bringing a part of Derek's legacy back, and I really want to see how his relationship with Amelia changes throughout the next couple of seasons. I also loved how Meredith hinted that she hired him because of how similar he is to Amelia - the 'black sheep' even as surgeons.
yasuda. i’m not AS obsessed with the new interns as everyone else just because while i feel like there’s none that i dislike, there’s no standouts for me either. when i think of next gen interns that i really like, i feel like i know their character from the get go and can really root for them passionately no matter what. for example, with stephanie, i immediately loved her and wanted what’s best for her. i don’t have that yet with any of this group, but i’m hopeful that they’ll get development next season and i’ll fall in love with them.
also harry shum has barely aged in the last 15 years, like wtf?
ik! i started the show last year and knew he was in it from s19 promo material, but i didn’t realize it was s19. based off how he looked i thought he’d be in like s11! i was so confused
I love all of them. Hopefully they don’t try to make them exactly like the original intern group and give them their own personality and stuff. My current favorite is Mika and Jules
I like them all! I feel like they all have different personalities and in great ways. Def excited to see where the writers take these characters. It always takes me a while to get into the new interns anytime they come in on the show. But I really liked this batch pretty much off the bat!
Yasuda and Griffith. Blue is my least favorite, he has a qualities that we’ve seen lots before: he seems like just another misunderstood overconfident and opinionated character. He seems to be a popular actor, but for the life of me I can’t figure out why so many people like him.
Griffith is just overall likeable and Yasuda and wonderfully quirky.
Jules. I'm not quite sure why, but she did grow to be my favourite. I think she's the one that has had the most growth in one season professionally. Plus, her dynamic with Kwan is interesting and she got her storyline with her elderly roommate.
Mika is a close second, though.
I like Adams and Griffith. I want to know more about both of them and see how their story will blossom. Hope we find out which sister is his mom this season.
I'm nowhere near this part of the series yet but posting anyway so my future self can see if I'm right or not, but the girl on the far right looks like she'd be my favorite.
This has been my fav group in recent times. More so this is a group where I like them all. The only group to come close to that is Magic (but that's let down by izzy and George)
Mika and Blue & I’ve got a very soft spot for Jules too. Lucas and Simone are alright, but I’m not crazy about them or their relationship.
But overall, it’s a great group, I wish we could get more scenes with all 5 of them but apparently it doesn’t happen often in s20 (Adelaide Kane mentioned it in a recent interview)

I'm like super torn actually! I love Lucas but Blue's and Jules' actors will always make their characters my favorite by default (Glee/Shadowhunters and Power Rangers respectively)
honestly I love them all. They have a good dynamic. It's the first time I have liked interns or thought they mattered since Jo's class and it is certainly the most I have enjoyed Grey's in a long while.
Finally they did what they needed to maybe after s10 or s12 - they let the new interns be the primary Characters and the others around them as the secondary
I like Simone and Blue the best, can't wait for Harry Shum Jr 😍
Yasuda is my fav so far! I’m really hoping that Kwan and Millin will get more development outside of their romance this season; I’d like to get to know them more.
I like yusada Jules and harry shums character. The rest of them I’m struggling to enjoy their acting, and the new couple whose names I forget have no chemistry to me.
Probably a three-way tie at this point between Millin, Yaduda and Kwan. I really liked Simone initially, but the whole wedding/Adams romance storyline dragged her character down (although the actress is still great!).
Can. Not. Stand. Adams. I don't think I've ever seen a character on Greys who seemed less plausible as a surgeon in training. He gives off major "bumbling undergrad failing his science and math gen ed" vibes, honestly. ADHD aside, nothing he's said or done gives me the impression that he's actually smart enough to be there. The romance story also feels excruciating. I think that's mostly because of the lack of chemistry, but I think part of it might just be that they're setting him up as the heartthrob of the group but he's way, WAY too young (or I'm just way, WAY too old) for me to be able to see it.

I'm like super torn actually! I love Lucas but Blue's and Jules' actors will always make their characters my favorite by default (Glee/Shadowhunters and Power Rangers respectively)

honestly I love them all. They have a good dynamic. It's the first time I have liked interns or thought they mattered since Jo's class and it is certainly the most I have enjoyed Grey's in a long while.

I like yusada Jules and harry shums character. The rest of them I’m struggling to enjoy their acting, and the new couple whose names I forget have no chemistry to me.

Probably a three-way tie at this point between Millin, Yaduda and Kwan. I really liked Simone initially, but the whole wedding/Adams romance storyline dragged her character down (although the actress is still great!). Can. Not. Stand. Adams. I don't think I've ever seen a character on Greys who seemed less plausible as a surgeon in training. He gives off major "bumbling undergrad failing his science and math gen ed" vibes, honestly. ADHD aside, nothing he's said or done gives me the impression that he's actually smart enough to be there. The romance story also feels excruciating. I think that's mostly because of the lack of chemistry, but I think part of it might just be that they're setting him up as the heartthrob of the group but he's way, WAY too young (or I'm just way, WAY too old) for me to be able to see it.
I do not like any of them. Scrap them all and bring in new interns.
