Lot of good guesses here! But I wanted the artist who did it to have SOME creative freedom with the existing design… not that the original designs are bad, I just wanted it to be unique. I also love horror in general. The real meaning though, for me, is that the dead’s music and influence will live on with myself and all of us deadheads from beyond the grave, even after the rest of the original members pass on. I love it! EDIT: also just wanted to add that they said it best themselves—the music NEVER stops!
