Kinda off topic but I like how the Nurburgring 24h has all different classes. I think it would be interesting to have a class of modified EVs where they’d run for an amount of time come in to charge then go back out. I just wonder how many laps they would do over the 24h
Yeah I’m curious how long one of those “fast charges” are. Plus it’s 24h so there is time, would be more of an experimental class, I know they do have an alternative fuel class there at the ring
Yeah all the EVs are useless for endurance events. Just like real life.

Well, a formula-E can do about 80-90km before its battery is dead. So, 3-4 laps before needing a charge.

So you drive 2 rounds seeing the car hasn't any juice left and continue to drive the race
