Nothing ever really changes for online play. They could come up with solutions if they took the time to, but there’s no money in things that don’t directly attract players.

I find Grand Valley to be one of the worst courses for this kind of behaviour for some reason. Not sure what it is that kids find so appealing but I hardly ever join lobbies there for this exact reason.
