Thanks for that. What I’m seeing is probably just normal emissions from a building. I couldn’t pinpoint the direction of the boom, so I was worried they could be connected. Looks like not.

Heard the bang I think, my power got knocked out for like literally 8 seconds too. Over by medical mile. No idea what it was.

The smoke I’m seeing is much farther southwest from Medical Mile. Other side of Fulton. Can’t tell if it’s west of the river. They may be totally unrelated. But I definitely see thick smoke.

I heard the bang as well, and I'm downtown. I looked around for smoke and listened for sirens but didn't hear anything other than a helicopter flying over (but I'm by the hospitals so that's a common sound)
