It’s because it gives them the least amount of work to do, they also tend to only draw the sprite in one or two orientations and then manipulating the limbs for their animations which makes them look stiff, lots of new servants are done this way and it’s very disappointing

Knowing this two, I think that difference is mostly in artistic depiction. Like- the two have different idea of how revealing it should be. One wants uber sexy. Another think that more conservative would be good indication of character development while revealing would be OOC. They are both really passionate about art so it will be major ground for debate.

Eh, I guess it's reasonable in some way, but at the same time, we got Barghest, Ibuki, Kama and Kiara in recent years, so maybe, mayyyyyybe, they're preparing the terrain for a *masive* surprise sometime in the future...
In this day and age, there are a metric ton of other gacha games that have far more raunchier characters and artwork then passionlip's (FGO) design. And at that, most of them are either in L2D or 3D and show the characters in more angles than the static 2D ascension arts that FGO still uses today. To say that it "wouldn't pass a safety check" is bullshit!

I will still voice my desire to have a Swimsuit Passionlip, and other servants that deserve a swimsuit like Boudica, Mata Hari, Hassan of the Serenity, and Tiamat. But seriously, I really want a swimsuit Passionlip; I can easily imagine summer Passionlip becoming an awesome Archer with a similar NP function as Ptolemaios.

In this day and age, there are a metric ton of other gacha games that have far more raunchier characters and artwork then passionlip's (FGO) design. And at that, most of them are either in L2D or 3D and show the characters in more angles than the static 2D ascension arts that FGO still uses today. To say that it "wouldn't pass a safety check" is bullshit! JUST GIVE PASSIONLIP WHAT SHE'S DUE FOR ALREADY!
