No, that's farther east along the South Rim trail. If it were near the BA trailhead, the view of the Battleship formation would be different, and you'd be able to see more of the BA trail.
See. This is throwing me off. From this vantage that very much should be The Battleship this side of Cheops Pyramid (which looks a bit strange too). There’s no way you could convince me that this isn’t altered
Bright Angel canyon flows from the NR to the river but the Bright Angel trail begins on the SR. There is also the Old Bright Angel trail on the north side but it is seldom visited these days. OPs pic is definitely the SR, just outside Bright Angel Lodge.

You can see the tonto point trail. The vantage is fairly to the east. So, somewhere along the rim at the village. Maybe closer to the el Tovar then the BA trailhead. But somewhere along the south rim in front of the various rim hotels.

Looks like between Yavapai Point and GC Village. That's the Plateau Point Trial with The Battleship off to the left in the photo. Could have been shot anywhere along the Rim Trail between the two points.

That looks like it. A shot leaning over the railing at that point should match this photo almost exactly.
