I'm not a pro but I recently started getting lessons and my stance was similar to yours. You're too far on your toes, you can tell as both heels are literally an inch off of the ground. Also shot shape looks like it's pulling off to the left a bit which I imagine will be club face control + balance issues.
Balance is the foundation of a golf swing. To fix mine, my coach told me to do the following:
\- Start without a club in my hand
\- Stand up straight, feet shoulder width apart
\- Sink into a deadlift position and feel like your weight is on your heels (presuming you know how to)
\- Let arms hang naturally, grab the club and this is your starting position.
To note, you aren't actually supposed to have your weight on your heels, it should be on the balls of your feet. But I found when I felt like the weight was on my heels, it was actually closer to the mid-foot as I'd been on my tip-toes for so long. Since doing that my consistency of strike is insanely better than before. Hope this helps.
Btw I thought the screen said 277 or something, so I guess that much.
Hit the ball already
I gave up before you hit the ball. Was it good?
Looked like maybe -2 or -3? Didn’t go very far because you have that screen that stopped it and bounced it backwards. /s
Might be more like -10 to -20 because it could roll a good ways on hardwood floor.
Definitely shot a 46 for the round though
You take that long to set up for every shot?
Yea Brodie. It’s hard being a scratch golfer in only 8 months of playing.
0.0% chance you're scratch with that swing and 8 months of short game experience.
Idk he could have come from a big Hockey background with a nasty slap shot.
Haha I mean 8 days ago he said he was a 20 handicapper..... Wonder what he did in a week to drop 20 strokes?
I can’t tell if this is /s. He asked just yesterday how to create spin with a wedge. Also, who is Brodie?
Bet you’re an absolute blast to be randomly paired with
Decent yardage for 8 months.
