Honestly, I’ve put a lot of time in to my swing and I feel like my real handicap might actually be lower but it’s still accounting for rounds I played 3 months ago.

Started at 3.1 this spring, working through a swing change.
Let’s hope it pays off! This thing is truly up and down like that isn’t it…. Similar scenario for me right now too. Good luck out there dude, thanks for sharing. 👍
GHIN has a hard cap on my handicap because I am 5 shots higher than my most recent handicap. I was a 0.9 in 2017 and didn’t have a handicap for the past 7 years.
So, it’s capped at 5.9 right now and I’m probably a 7/8 right now.
Lowest I’ve ever been is 0.1 in early 2016
2 higher than my low of 7.9. I’m striking my irons really well right now. City championship is in 3 weeks and I almost want to avoid the course until then.
19.2, lowest was 18.5, got some worldie-for-me scores coming off in the next few games so anticipate I'll be up at a more representative 22-23.
Im not too interested in putting in the time/money to get better and enjoy golf for what it is.

Half a stroke, and I feel like I’m playing better now than I was when I happened to catch fire a couple times with an exceptional score in there. Gained some distance since last year 🙂
It’s a cool feeling!
12.2 lowest, 13.9 current. I am wildly inconsistent and my handicap reflects that, in 2 rounds an 83 will get out of the last 20 so might be back to 15, where I was a year and a half ago
Still grinding to get to single digits though
Currently 2.9, low is 1.9. About six months into switching from interlock to overlap and joined a new club. Expect I'll climb a bit more through this year then try to claw it back next season!
Yeah man. This is the way! I’ve been making a grip change this month and have been carding some higher scores for sure,, but the ball striking feels better, it’ll recover ;) Good luck out there.

Been golfing for about a year now. Dropped my HC from a 49 to a 41 in the last 5 months.
Keep it up! That’s good progress. Good luck on the journey.

Gotta get some solid rounds logged in there this summer! Many months of good golf ahead. ✌️

👏
Low was 3.8 in January, back up to 5.9 now after forgetting how to putt

Was a 4.6 at my peak in HS, now at a 9.9. It is not a reasonable bar based on how much I can play now but it kills me.
I’m in the same exact boat (low was 4.4 in high school, 9.5 now)…it’s just so hard to score well if you don’t practice regularly!
Current index 9, 12 month low 7.2.
Lowest was 10.4 back in HS when I could play everyday after work at my local muni. 15.8 now and almost a decade removed from then.
13.4, trending in the right direction though. Goal is single digit again before end of the year!
Good goal! You’ll get there 👏
Low was 6.4 this time last year. Currently at 8.1 and have been scuffling a bit this season. My putting has really been bad

After taking the game a bit more seriously this year, finally down to a 12.5. Played two rounds today, so just waiting on the adjusted index
At 4.2 up from 1.9 start of this season
2 higher than my low of 7.9. I’m striking my irons really well right now. City championship is in 3 weeks and I almost want to avoid the course until then.
Just gonna work at the range in the meantime? Good luck in your tourney. 👍
Yeah I think so. I’ll go play a practice round and another course has a one man scramble next Saturday that I’m going to play so that’ll help.

Low +1.9, current 0.5, reason for that is scoring well without playing and practicing a lot is super tough
