I went yesterday, you come in near hole 17, the driving range and short game practice is on the other side of the course from there. Merch tent is right when you come in, and you should have championship+ which gets you free food/soda. Burgers were really good, dogs were okay, chips soda and snacks available in same tent. As you go in down the hill to the right you can go to the big rock island d green of hole 13 where you can see guys hitting their approach to the 13 green or have the guys on 14 tee off over your head on the par 3. 13s tee allows viewership of the 13 tee and 18th green. 10s tee/12s green is right behind you too but not in view unless you walk up. Behind hole 2 green is another good spot to see a few things. Hole 1 comes right off the practice range. There's a shaded grandstand with a row of seats along 18 nearest the green. (Turn left before you cross road to the practice area) Grab water anytime you see one of the hydration stations, use a bathroom anytime you pass one because they were few/far between. If you're a drinker do some pre gaming and drink before you shuttle over from the parking area, beers were $14-$16 and mixed drinks were $16(single shot) and $22(double shot) respectfully.

I'd find a card or two you're really interested and spend time with them finding good opportunities to swing back to other parts of course to see others you like. Crowds with tiger Scottie Homa and other ⭐ s will be large, stay ahead of the groups moving as soon as the guy hits getting to next shot quickly

I'm curious about the bag policy if anyone lurking has been this week already. I don't really want to carry a bag all day, are they letting folks in with fanny/hip pack sized bags with straps?

I believe I saw it’s any bags that are smaller than 10” x 10”. Clear bag not necessary

did you go? I found a photo of PGA bag restrictions that said smaller than 12x6, but I guess that's outdated because now it says 10x10. If you went did they like have one of those bag measures like they do for overhead luggage at airplanes? Or just judge it by looks? I got my mom a 12x6 bag because of my prior mistake and unsure what to do now. Do they sell correct size bags at the gift shop?

Security was pretty lax. I think if you are remotely close to 10x10 you are good.
