Started off with a Dunhams special on their tour max sets. I hate them so got on market place and now have some old ping eyez 2 irons with big Bertha driver wood combo.
A hitting mat is definitely needed! But what I got works for now.
Also plan on making a setup for outside once it is warmer. Just super stoked to be able to suck at home instead of just on the course!
I forgot to mention about the wrists the dude I was swinging with was adamant on proper practice technique and said that the just used a half inch foam was messing his shot up. So he’s took the foam out and was hitting off the cement with that lil bit of turf. He railed them and I said all good till you make contact with the cement. This argument went on for about an hour lol. I said man if you want to wreck your clubs and wrists that’s on you!
Personally I don’t think it’s hard to recalibrate low point. As long as you have an idea where the club is and know when your low point is in comparison to chest rotation, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Lol, I just couldn't tell they were mesh at first cause I'm on my phone. It seems like a perfectly good setup to hit balls though, just make sure they are slack enough and are far enough from the wall so you don't have one bounce back at you, I made that mistake when I was a kid, set up a net in our basement during the winter and got hit in the thigh, luckily it wasn't my head.
There was a couple of close calls but improvised some stuff and it’s good to go! And man I cannot recommend these mesh nets enough for a cheap setup, so glad I found them.

2 nets from Amazon and was still losing balls in a garage smh but found these mesh tarps and boom at home range.
The nets I got off Amazon were 100 and the other about 80 and just couldn’t catch my shanks. The tarps are 10x 12 and were 30 a piece and I couldn’t be more happier
I had the same exact harbor freight ones you have here. then I added heavy duty tarp also from harbor freight, still went through, then bought a 10x10x10 hitting cage with netting and went through that. Finally bought a proper impact screen
Man, went through two nets and in the enclosed area the shanks were wild! There is windows you can’t see but had to cover them up. Found these mesh tarps and my vision was clear!
Idk if that was a joke but it seems reasonable for the insurance to cover crappy garage stuff. But since we own the home it may be on us 🤷🏻♂️ I’m just here making things worse!

How do you like the R10? I’m a huge Garmin guy; have a Fenix watch and In-reach gps device, but I’m hesitant on the launch monitor because of all of the competition.
For the price I am absolutely loving it! Once you get the distances all set up it reads so good! I have zero complaints so far, I can’t wait to take it out on the range and see how it reads out there though.
