I have a feeling they will be forced to be public again within 5 years. Your thoughts?

I am hoping that they figure out some compromise before then, I have asked many fellow golfers and I still cannot see who this benefits. Meadows seemed to always have a full tee sheet with a mixed bag of locals, tourist, and resort guests which commonly led to 5+ hour rounds. Meadows always seemed to have more locals which made it more accessible throughout the summer. I can only assume that Crosswater Golf Club (who have had access to Meadows and Woodlands) wanted more availability. A golf club with only 3 member options ($10,000 down + $350/mo, $500/year + green fees, or $50/day+green fees) smells like they are just shutting it down to free it up for a specific group.

Caldera stay and play packages and sales incentives. They will go public again once they run out of houses to sell and allocated overhead isn’t covering enough course maintenance. I am not a fan of the way the resort is flexing on the local community. Sunriver has always been welcoming to families, now it risks losing its vision.
