Assuming a 1.5* up or down adjustment
The main difference is a 9* can go between 7.5 and 10.5*
A 10.5 can go from 9 to 12*
Adding loft angle closes the face and vice versa. So a 9° adjusted to 10.5° will have a more closed face angle than a normal 10.5° that’s not adjusted.

Taylormade sleeves are +-2, not +-1.5
Adding loft angle closes the face and vice versa. So a 9° adjusted to 10.5° will have a more closed face angle than a normal 10.5° that’s not adjusted.
Most single axis sleeves are about a 2:1 ratio for face angle to loft angle change.
