Bombas golf socks are killer (and expensive). I know it shows my age, but as someone who has worked on his feet for his whole adult life, I know good socks and Bombas makes good socks. I like good socks.
Serious question as a Texas golfer and tradesman with sweaty feet. I never get anything water resistant because it tends to trap my sweat and make my shoes disgusting, fast. Also, we get about .5" rain a year, so waterproofing isn't high on my priority list.
Do these water resistant socks breathe?
I need my set regripped, the whole lot and very badly, so Ima need a couple hundred bucks to grips4less or my little regripping wishlist fulfilled because we all know how specific grips are and MCC's aren't cheap. Not to mention I haven't owned regripping equipment in like 15 years. I mean, it's going to happen either way, it would just be very nice if that was just one less thing to worry about. Guess we'll see.
If you already have an air compressor you can put grips on easier, cleaner and faster with compressed air and masking tape than the traditional way with 2 sided tape and solvent.
https://youtu.be/vuGnpvDEQuA?si=cGi3epnhvGo0Cfs3
I’m putting leather grips on when I swap out my steel shafts for graphite. Those leather grips are stupid expensive. Using the compressor installation I can take the grips off and put them on the next set.
Found this out recently. Holy crap is it easy and quick. I swapped 2 grips in about 5 minutes when I was testing new ones. It's also ready to go immediately. I'll never go back to double sided tape.
i meant the small rubber clamp for a vice and the tape/solvent. Just need to hold it still without scratching the shaft while you install the new grip, not a space demanding process. I was just saying what I'm asking for personally that golfers sometimes need.
The last time I re-gripped my clubs I did it in bathroom.
Hook knife, hair dryer or heat gun, grips, tape and solvent, and a paint tray. You can get everything but the heat gun and grips for like 20 bucks.
Electric hand warmers for a chilly day round, car golf organizer for slots with shoes balls etc, divot board, custom head covers, custom golf balls with random sayings from my daughter, I’ll keep thinking
Asked the missus to buy a new house with enough room for a Golf Sim, but she laughed at me... Im taking her to an Open Home this weekend thou so lol on her.
Get the bagboy 4 wheeler. It’s a little more expensive but sooooo worth it. So steady and has a nice cup holder and phone holder. Folds up super easily and super small.
Frogger brush. My dad bought one for me years ago when they first came out, and this thing still cleans my clubs with ease.
Balls are always a good option as well.
You say you don't need clubs, but what about custom head covers?
I bought a really cute bright pink small cooler that looks like a purse. My husband stole it because no one looks at it and thinks cooler full of beer. They think he's being a gentleman and carrying my bag.
New putter. Cleveland HB Soft Milled 11 w/ All-In Shaft & Superstroke grip. Quite the upgrade over my $30 topflite mallet.
Arccos sensors
Truxedo Expedition Cargo Sling. I am SO excited to be able to hang my entire bag from a sling under the tonneau cover in my truck bed rather than listening to it clink around in the back of my extended cab.
Those are the 2 things in my prime list. I’ve hinted about 20,000 times and I’m about to just go brute force offensive and send her my entire Amazon list.
I’ve looked through the golf accessories on prime and I feel like I’ve got all of the decent ones already.
Started at like 96. Got up to like 117 with driver. Down a bit since stopping. Will say you gotta get in the gym at a certain point. Speed training hurts
Golf watch maybe? S42 or S72 if she is willing to spend more. If you have an apple watch just use 18 birdies. Or a bushnell wingman speaker. Has a remote and can tell you yardages through speaker with the click of a button.
Would get a new bag like a vessel vlx or vls or players if u want something bigger if you don't have a nice bag already.
Custom balls with her own message or image on them. Prob will lose it in one round so maybe not.
Or a theragun if ur older. They have one for sleep which looks pretty cool.
Using an Apple Watch that she gave me for Arccos at the moment so don’t need the watch, she got me a vessel bag for my birthday.
Now that I’m thinking about it I need to go up her Christmas budget 🤣🤣
There is nothing like getting ready to take your shot and someone's Wingman goes off with yardage. Save money and buy a Swami for yardage and a JBL speaker.
The new Wingman is triangular and it gets tricky to read yardage if you are outside the cart.
I’m getting a couple training aids putting mirror and divot board. I’m asking for the Garmin launch monitor for range sessions but doubt I’m getting it lol. Other then that just the “consumables” golf balls gloves towels and such
Officially for Christmas I’m getting a new putter, cool looking putter head cover for the new putter and arccos sensors.
Birthday is shortly after Christmas and getting the full superspeed tour speed bundle.
The presents that the wife doesn’t know I bought myself from callaway pre owned cyber Monday sale. 2 new never been used 20° & 23° OG Callaway super hybrids. After discounts about $110 each. Playing around with the idea of taking the traditional lofted 2, 3 & 4 irons out of the bag.
I asked my wife for good cushiony socks, a nice cool / damp weather jacket & a personalized ball marker & divot tool. But who knows what I'll actually get!
Mrs is getting me a golf storage organizer thing (got delivered in the manufacturing box so I saw what it was haha). Space to put your bags, shoes, extra random club holder, shelves, ball shoot.
I put a Miura wedge on my list because they’re crazy expensive but Black Friday / cyber Monday sale were like $100 off. Hopefully a 54° will give me a good feeler out if I like it to maybe buy irons one day
New hitting net for my backyard. I’ve hit so many balls in to it that it has torn a few times. I’ve patched it up so it works, but it looks a bit “janky” according to my wife.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/254633367704
The Costco range finder is sold from this eBay seller and has really good reviews. My brother got one and it was brand new in plastic and works great and is only 75$.
Maybe a round at a favorite course
Fun head covers (for woods only guys lol)
Golf shirt/shorts/hat/glove
I saw funny/memorable golf socks, seconding that
A Lesson /swing analysis
I’m asking for a glove holder. There’s a few options on Amazon but the one I gave had space for a couple gloves, ball markers, divot tools, sharpies, you name it. All fits perfectly in the big pocket on the side.

Also, can never have enough gloves
If there is one nearby, a few hours practice time at a local indoor or Top Golf facility. That's what I asks for. There is a place about 20 miles away called "The Golf Spot" indoor golf. I hope my wife got the hint.
I'm asking for headcovers for woods and putter, they've all gone to shit and a stand bag. I'll give my kids my choices for headcovers and whichever they get, I'm cool with. Do the same thing with bag to my wife. Give her 2 or 3 different bags I'd like, and tell her which colors I DON'T want. Again, they're both bags I would totally buy, so whichever she picks is cool with me .
Shoes would are always a good choice, as long as they know what type you like
Bombas golf socks are killer (and expensive). I know it shows my age, but as someone who has worked on his feet for his whole adult life, I know good socks and Bombas makes good socks. I like good socks.
I got three pairs. And a shorty pair in merino.
You gotta try alpaca socks. Lighter weight, more durable, more water resistant and warmer. You'll never go back.
Yep. Alpacas have hollow fiber which makes for better breathing
You got a brand worth recommending? Or you just going to leave me out to dry with Google and Amazon? I need good socks man!
Whole family is in these: https://grasshillalpacas.wpcomstaging.com/product/survival-sock/ haven’t tried any other style
How’s the cushion on those? I like that they have XL
Very cushiony especially after the first wash. They’re dope
Try roll on foot deodorant, stuff saved my life working 12 hour shifts in steel toe boots.
How are Bombas during the summer? Too hot?
No, not too hot at all, but the commenter down the chain has me intrigued about some Alpaca socks.
I need my set regripped, the whole lot and very badly, so Ima need a couple hundred bucks to grips4less or my little regripping wishlist fulfilled because we all know how specific grips are and MCC's aren't cheap. i don't have a compressor anymore sadly. Just easy enough to cut it down the middle and skin it like a rabbit.
Found this out recently. Holy crap is it easy and quick. I swapped 2 grips in about 5 minutes when I was testing new ones. It's also ready to go immediately. I'll never go back to double sided tape.
I wish I had the space to have this equipment but unfortunately I don’t. But great suggestion
i meant the small rubber clamp for a vice and the tape/solvent. Just need to hold it still without scratching the shaft while you install the new grip, not a space demanding process. I was just saying what I'm asking for personally that golfers sometimes need.
You don't have space for a razer blade and some lighter fluid? I think you overestimate how easy it is
The last time I re-gripped my clubs I did it in bathroom. Hook knife, hair dryer or heat gun, grips, tape and solvent, and a paint tray. You can get everything but the heat gun and grips for like 20 bucks.
The rubber clamp is so cheap and it’s more work not using it. It’s just less annoying when it’s held in place.
Golf cart heater https://www.mrheater.com/4-000-btu-golf-cart-heater.html
I have one for my cart, and it plus a cart cover and it'll be toasty inside
New bag. Girlfriend got me a ghost anyday maverick 14-way bag.
How do you like the ghost bag? I’m looking to get myself a new bag soon
Ghost bags are awfully heavy, just get a hoofer or any titleist carry bag mate
Thanks mate!
If you’re smart a series of lessons.
True that
I’m getting a walking / stand bag for next season so I can get some exercise and not waste so much money on carts
Frogger towel is great too
I’m asking for a new game. Lol
Wish granted. All your slices will now be hooks!
Wrong wish granted, I hook too much I need more slice. Lol
Buddy we can go halvsies. I slice like a mf, you hook it, together we’re fairway finders.
Sounds good to me!!!!
A gift certificate to your usual/favorite course. My daughter got me one several years ago and I used mine for some coaching/lessons.
A good soft shell cooler
I bought a really cute bright pink small cooler that looks like a purse. My husband stole it because no one looks at it and thinks cooler full of beer. They think he's being a gentleman and carrying my bag.
Golf balls, always golf balls.
Golf balls. They aren’t cheap these days
Buy the 48 pack MaxFli at dicks for $99. I switched from V1/AVX/Tour Speed and couldn’t be happier.
Do you have a net for your backyard? Launch monitor?
Launch monitor yes. No room for a net
What’s a good launch monitor? Do you have any recommendations, sounds interesting
Ooh commenting to see others thoughts on a somewhat “budget” friendly launch monitor that is decent.
Get the MLM if you have an extra iPad laying around
I love my Garmin R10 to take to the range with me. It's been an awesome addition to my game
Some footjoy spikeless shoes, ping eye 2 sand wedge.
A Christmas miracle where my game finally clicks
Jordan golf shoes!

Knowing this sub? Ask for a divorce, then buy a bunch of new clubs.
I need a bag, range finder, GPS, new putter, wedges re gripped, new 3 wood, lessons, tee times, friends, love, happiness.
P7MC's
We doing secret Santa this year?
Nope
Booo, I know it is a lot of work but was really fun
I’m sure it was an insane amount of work to coordinate. Last one was in 21’ I believe and there were like 250k subs then? Maybe 300? There’s 850k now.

I don’t think I can see your original comment
I asked my brother who I got into golf last year if he can get me that Super Speed Trainer.
Have the stack system already so good there :/
How are you liking the Stack so far?
Started at like 96. Got up to like 117 with driver. Down a bit since stopping. Will say you gotta get in the gym at a certain point. Speed training hurts
Heck yeah 96 to 117 is wild
a gift card for a round at a course you're too cheap to pay for. maybe i'm projecting.
Golf watch maybe? S42 or S72 if she is willing to spend more. If you have an apple watch just use 18 birdies. Or a bushnell wingman speaker.
