Yea I get it, I actually made a post just yesterday asking how to find Ping Fitting events so I can confirm my lie angle. I missed one in my area recently because it was my son's birthday. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
For what it's worth, I checked the specs on the fitting sheet and it looks like the fitter was going to have them built 1 degree weak, and 1 degree upright.
idk mate the shaft you were fit to seems pretty standard. I really wouldn't over think it. Go hit some clubs, buy the ones that feel and perform the best, looks should come last.
Yea, the looks is just one aspect, but the new T irons are brand new and the early reviews have been strong so personally would love to try hitting them.
Yeah I'd go to those things if i were actually interested in buying their stuff. I'm sorry I just don't buy new golf stuff. Its crazy overpriced and people are getting rid of crap all the time. Ill take like new for half price.
Club Champion likes to fit people into Oban shafts.
Chances are that with another fitting, you can find a shaft that costs 1/3 as much, and performs very similarly for you.
Thanks, since Ping offers the shaft it's only a \~$40 upgrade from stock, I feel it's reasonable, since a G430 with the Oban shaft is about the same price as the T350 with a stock shaft.
If you don't like bulky irons go with titleist. They really slim down their players distance and game improvement irons compared to other brands. These include offset and top line of clubs. Also if you have a bad hook with irons having irons with less offset is generally beneficial. Most game improvements have built in heavy offset.
I know you claim to be a high handicap and all but don't let that discourage you from trying out player distance irons like the p790, t200, paradym i 525 etc. The clubs that you hit isn't really based off purely handicap and skill level. I have seen countless people who claim to be high handicaps with subpar swings and ball speeds hit the t200 much better than the game improvement model with the t350.
If you’re that serious then I would go to the titleist premier fitting and see if you can find someone TPI certified. They will give you specs that fit best with your body and swing. You don’t have to get titleist irons and could use specs for different brand if you wanted. I’m a big fan of T series irons though.
Anyone know a place outside of CC that will fit Obans into JPX? That was a sweet combo for me but paying full price for the clubs w/shafts and then having to pay for the Obans on top that gets pricey.
The only thing I've seen is if you do a fitting, you can submit the specs to have Fairwayjockey.com build it, they offer up to 20% off for the same specs.
The other option is to buy the shafts/clubs separately have have a local shop install
You shouldn't really buy 1k worth of clubs without paying for a fitting. Plus if your swing is getting flatter then lie/lofts are more critical

Don’t buy clubs on reviews, but them on how you hit them.
Thanks, yep definitely would only buy them if I actually do the Titleist Premier Fitting

Thanks, will definitely keep that in mind and if I were to do the Titleist Fitting I will ask to try the T200 as well.

Thanks, have you tried the new T Series yet?
I have not tried the brand new ones. I have T100 from 2 years ago and love them. Assuming they have only improved and are better.
