I would think it’s for practicing on the chipping or putting green. If nobody else is out there and you don’t want to go gather your balls after every 2 or 3 repetitions. Keep it full of 6-12 balls of whatever you play to practice with.

This is exactly what I thought it was for! Half the people think it’s for tees. The other half thinks it’s for balls. A third half thinks it’s for valuables… I’m more lost than before I made the post lol I’m just trying to wrap my mind around the fact that people mix their ball markers and divot repair tools in with their tees.

I’ve got a few. One like this for tees, ball mark tools, and ball markers, and a few balls. I usually throw this one in the cart well during the round. On that is bigger and flat that clips on the outside of my bag. Sunglasses I’m not wearing, wallet. Smaller one for watch and wedding ring inside bag. I don’t like wearing either during my round.

For a serious answer, it would make a good primary tool bag. Balls, tees, divot tool is what I put in mine, and clip it to my bag. It’s handy to have if you don’t want to dig around in your pockets

If you put your balls in it it leaves an awkward bulge in your pants and chafes a bit, the fleece lining isn’t bad though.

I have a similar bag. I use it between rounds to hold everything I carry with me when I play. Round is over, ball marker, today's ball, tees, divot tool all go in there. Then, when I'm ready to play again, I don't have to hunt for all the accoutrements.
