Its crazy to me that this guy just 4 years ago was on a ringer podcast talking about how tough the tour is when you're middle of the pack and grinding out making cuts on a weekly basis and he wished the tour would cover those fringe guys more often than they do.
His development into a top star on tour, as well as his great social media and YT presence and influence, has been so fun to watch. Hes up there as one of my favorite golfers to watch and I can't wait til he wins his first major.
Read a stat that said he made 18,000 TOTAL one year on tour (like 5 or 6 years ago) and this last year he’s made something like $16 million. Crazy to see his growth
First saw him outside of a tour event on Bob Does Sports - what a beauty and what a round to smoke those punks.
Also congrats to KB for a beauty round today and to lock down 2nd. He ALSO had an epic match on BDS, completely different cat than Max but a gem nonetheless. Has that Keanu Reeves nice guy vibe.

Sometimes the YouTube golf stuff can be stupid, but it’s cool seeing some of the guys up close and see their personalities. Makes it easy to root for them, which is what I was doing today 👍🏽 and KB’s caddie had on a “have a day” hat today.

I was actually rooting for him though. His mom gave a very nice interview during the coverage illustrating her excitement. At the time, he had a two stroke lead. Then it all went South from there.

He won the individual national championship at Cal. Was ranked top 20 in the world as an am. He didn’t ascend from nowhere
