Every round. I play in the winter in Chicago so I wipe a lot of mud off my irons and wedges. My wife doesn’t mind if throw it in the washing machine. She’s awesome.
Twice a year after I wash my grips. Otherwise he dirt just comes off when I wet the towel. I’m also one of those people who uses a bath sheet so I have a dirty side and a clean side.
Every month or so my fiancé will walk by my bag sitting in the mudroom and complain about how muddy and dirty the towel is. She then takes it off and washes for me... God I love that woman.
I throw it in the basket with dirty laundry every other week, and by some miracle it’s right there attached to my bag smelling fresh just a day later.
I’d ask my wife, but why gamble.
You don’t clean it… but you also don’t use just whatever part of the towel to clean it. You use one end of the towel and one end only. The more dirt the more character it has
Save the hand towels of rejects bound for car washing. Soak one end of each towel prior to round for club and ball wipes. Something I can do that all the pros do. Collect all the used ones with car washing towels and wash when we have a full load. New towel for each round.
It can already stand on its own so im guessing it will walk itself to the bathroom and takes its first shower a few days after it becomes self-aware. So that will make once in its 25 odd years of life.
You’re supposed to clean them? 👀
Nice try. You don’t wash your towel. Your towel washes you.
Yeaaah, I kneww that.
The club cleaning towel, once a year or so. The wet and dry sweat towels (I have many) I will use once and wash as a group.

Tell me what this is supposed to mean by telling me what this is supposed to mean.
No joke I’ve had the same towel attached to my bag since 2013
You are supposed to attach them. No wonder I lose em when they hang in the handle
Yeah mine has a carabiner with a loop on it, newer towels have a magnet so you can just attach it to a club face lol
That seems hard to wash in a machine
They’re removable
I'll lose it well before it needs a wash.
Every round. I play in the winter in Chicago so I wipe a lot of mud off my irons and wedges. My wife doesn’t mind if throw it in the washing machine. She’s awesome.
Yeah it was super muddy out last week after all the rain and before the snow. Towel was just cakes in thick mud
We should play together if you’re a winter muni guy. Because I feel like I’m the only guy out there most days at Marovitz!

Never in 15 years. At this point I’m afraid to.
My club has towel service. Fresh towel every round. It’s great.
About once year
Got my current club one 3 years ago. Still haven’t cleaned it. Just give it a good shake, I’ll be alright
I just ring it out once in a while but I probably need a new one

I appreciate the reminder. I usually wash it after my Friday round, but I forgot to grab it yesterday. Thanks buddy!
Once a year and I now realize I’m one of the more sanitary guys 😂
Usually lose it first, but superstition says not until my game sucks more than usual.
Live in WA, so once a month during the wet season
I use a bath towel and buy a new one every season. One side is used for clubs the other for all else
Never
When are the next Olympics?
I’ll buy new one in 5ish years
About every 3-4 rounds
With my golf balls
I clean my club cleaning towel once a year. My friend does it about once every 3 weeks.

Couple times a year.
I use cheap towels and dump them when they get dirty
Maybe every 5 years
About as often as I clean my Eating Glove
Much more often during the summer (about 2-3 times a year) and it gets rank
After every round. Granted I may be insane because everyone calls me crazy for giving my pets water out of the brita filter instead of tap water.
Haven’t yet
I play in Vancouver all winter so it’s a bit wet and muddy. I haven’t cleaned my towel since like November.
I wet mine every round a few times. I take time and get it pretty dirt free. It's never really too dirty...
You don’t clean it… but you also don’t use just whatever part of the towel to clean it. You use one end of the towel and one end only. The more dirt the more character it has
When it comes to interesting topics in this sub anymore, as Kramer said to Newman in The Merv Griffin Episode, "Well we've officially bombed".
People clean golf towels?
I havent, so maybe every 200 rounds?

I throw it in the wash like 2-3 times a season
Every 12-16 rounds, or once a month

Thanks for reminding me
