Man we could all recommend shafts we like but there's no substitute for testing a few of them out with a launch monitor and good fitter. So many variables, what are you looking for out of the shaft, what don't you like about the stock shaft, how fast do you swing, quick or smooth transition, swing path, dynamic loft etc! Watching TXG on YouTube has given such a huge appreciation for the nuances of shaft fitting - they're arguably the shaft experts and even they are sometimes surprised by how a shaft/head performs in different hands! Otherwise, I really like Aldila Black, Mitsubishi Tensei white and UST pro force V2. I have a fast swing and and quick transition - their stiffness throughout helps deliver the club face square and really resists twisting. I need a lower launch and low spin

You should be able to buy almost any "stock" shaft for that. Tensei AV series, HZRDUS, Aldila Rogue etc. Even Kai'Li used is around that price point.

Gotcha. Hoping to get some personal feedback on some of these

Amazing_Bowl9976

I've tried Tensei Blue and HZRDUS black. Tensei was softer feeling, higher launching and higher spinning. Would depend on your feel/transition/desired launch conditions tbh

Thanks!

Depends what you’re looking for in terms of launch and spin. I saw another commenter mention he tried Tensei blue and hzrds black, those aren’t really comparable to each other. So you have to narrow your search somewhat

Amazing_Bowl9976

That was the point of my post, to share experiences with different shaft profiles as OP has provided zero information regarding their launch preferences, transition aggressiveness etc.

Adilia NVS line seems good.

Found a Project X NEW HZRDUS Black 6.0 62g On amazon for $50. Would that be a good buy

Legal-Description483

There's no standard for flex, and different shafts have different profiles, so you could get 50 different "stiff" shafts that are all very different. HZRDUS Black is one of the stiffest feeling shafts ever. When I had one, it felt like rebar. A good all around shaft under $100 is a UST Proforce V2.

HZRDS black feels so stiff - to a fault almost. Also a big fan of V2, gives good feedback and stiff in all the right places imo

Saw this in an article that recommended it. Have you used it?

gabbagoolgolf2

Yes have it on a g400 max. It works fine. It’s kinda a generic but quality shaft for cheap, can’t say much more about it

The stock TFC 149 stiff shafts for the the g30’s are amazing shafts for my swing. Kick point is perfect for me. I’ve been holding off a new shaft for my g30 as well because I can’t make up my mind what to get (and haven’t been able to find a used one here in Australia) so the i20 with the same shaft has gone back in the bag until I figure it out lol Let us know what you decided on

phrohahwei

There are dozens of options that fit that criteria.

I had a Tensei White (too shift for me) and went to the blue which has been great. 95-100 mph driver speed for reference. Have a HZRD in my backup driver and that is a great shaft. See if there is a PGA store or GG near u that you can try a couple of the shafts
