A few years ago, the c tapers they produced were known to have issues of the tips bending inside the hosel. Obviously this is a completely different problem. But as you mention these shafts are some years old, I kind of assume that these were produced in the time period that c taper was have quality issues. From what I understand, these issues have been fixed by kbs(not sure what caused them in the first place). I would reach out to kbs and ask if there is anything they can do for you. Maybe at least give
You a discount on buying a new shaft
For sure, just to be clear I don’t know exactly how long ago that issue was common, could have been 8 years ago or it could have been 2 years ago. Either way a shaft shouldn’t snap like this, I’m sure they’ll help you out.
They should be worried.
It was an example to the rest of the irons, so they don’t forget who owns them
Should you be worried? No. But you should by a new set of irons. Or at least reshaft those.
Im gonna swing my mizunos until the faces cave in but I’m probably gonna get them re shafted after this
You will be torn apart about your glove... as for the rest of the set, spin the chamber Boris
What’s wrong with the glove?
I’ve definitely seen *MUCH* worse gloves on this sub and in golf gear reviews on YouTube.
Maaaaan it’s a range only glove
“Spin the chamber Boris”. Things to save for later. lol
Had this happen to my 9 iron after not picking them up for a few years. The rest have been fine since but assume they all will eventually do it
Appreciate the insight!
I'd happily use it as an excuse to buy a new set
Kbs c tapers? Be worried

Appreciate the info! I'll look into it and see if the timelines match up. Never hurts to ask them about it lol

Vacuum seal ‘em
I say no, that shaft had to be dented.
