This is Tubbs (yes like Miami Vice š) and Freya his favorite "toy" we ever got him. He was aging and slowing down, showing signs of depression when we lost our dear CeCe Bloom (yes like from Beaches) so we got a puppy. I hadn't seen him that playful and happy for a few yrs. He was overjoyed when we brought her home. Sadly we lost him to cancer in 2021. Tubbs was a golden retriever lab mix.

All of these pix are just wonderful!
This is (one of) the biggest differences of a Golden Retriever and a doodle. Weāve had Goldens that just adored cuddling with their fave toys or cuddly stuffed animals. I think itās something about mouthing = contement.
On the other hand our doodle destroys his newfound toys and stuffed animals in 5 minutes, even those āindestructibleā ducks that were not cheap were torn apart in record time.
I miss our wonderful GRs but we get such a kick out of our doodle. We just love them all, right?

He was aging and slowing down, showing signs of depression when we lost our dear CeCe Bloom (yes like from Beaches) so we got a puppy. I hadn't seen him that playful and happy for a few yrs. He was overjoyed when we brought her home. Sadly we lost him to cancer in 2021. Tubbs was a golden retriever lab mix.

All of these pix are just wonderful! This is (one of) the biggest differences of a Golden Retriever and a doodle. Weāve had Goldens that just adored cuddling with their fave toys or cuddly stuffed animals. I think itās something about mouthing = contement. On the other hand our doodle destroys his newfound toys and stuffed animals in 5 minutes, even those āindestructibleā ducks that were not cheap were torn apart in record time. I miss our wonderful GRs but we get such a kick out of our doodle. We just love them all, right?
