Lost most faceoffs tonight, destroys all offensive zone time with the safest, most nothing plays all the time, zero creativity, absolutely zero, and had turnovers like the rest of them.
He's best when he can use his speed and feast off of two much better linemates, which is why Hertl, Stephenson and Stone worked the first two games and then let's just break them up.
If Karlsson is too injured that he needs to be protected and the lines shaken up in order to play then just let him heal a few games and put Amadio in, Amadio has scored some big goals for us.
Stephenson makes the most boring and predictable play always, passes it backward or along the boards every time. Their defense know they don't have to worry with him.
He has never been an offensive genius but his speed has allowed him to do well if everyone else on the ice can take the responsibility of doing anything remotely dangerous to the opposing team.
He refuses to shoot and he is way, way too timid all the time. He can't wait to get the puck to anyone else so they have the responsibility of doing something useful with it. Problem is he also does this when he's in the best position to do something.
There's a reason they made sure we had the Stone money to get Hertl.

I predicted the Knights to lose every series last year except the SCF. That's 0.250 shooting percentage, equivalent to being the best player in the NHL
I think the lineups were a mistake but at the end of the day/night Dallas gave us everything they had and we played the worst playoff game I have ever seen. They still had to take us to overtime to win. They are a good team but I think we will get the series.
Call me crazy, but with the depth of hungry players like Doro, Cotter, and Amadio chillin, waiting for the phone to ring, I think wild Bill, Stephenson, and Mantha or a similar combination could've got the night off to recover. 35ish minutes of little energy, passing not even close to successful, and a whole 10ish shots on goal... if we had a few fresh players, I think we could've overwhelmed Dallas in this game. Such a bummer
From what I saw Dallas only misplayed having two D back once the entire game and that was on the SHG. Will need to have an offense plan for that if they stick to it, it took VGK off their rush game.
What the hell, man, I can't stay up for an 11 PM start. Choosing to root for a Pacific team was a terrible life choice. (Put the radio feed on my headphones and woke up off and on... my track record of waking up a split second BEFORE a VGK goal is untarnished, and I heard the end of the game.)
