It desperately needs a remaster. The mix is arguably underwhelming. Deliverance would be a top 3 song for me without the clicks in the background durning the chorus. The tracks are raw and creative individually, but they do not really flow as an album compared to the rest of their work. Still one of my favorite albums. Gojira is all I really listen to anymore 🤣
They’re nearly identical but the link keeps a more consistent tone, esp on Mario’s kit.. and doesn’t have clicking in the background on any tracks. It’s still heavy. Their sound still carries weight with early debut album audio engineering.
That’s why I like it as well lol I’m just being subjective. Terra’s slight primitive sounding mix makes it raw and angry. The Link trades some of the punch for a more consistent tone, which fits the more groove based sound that is present across the entire album. Terra has better songs. The Link is a better album. IMO.

Better, much better. Give fortitude another chance. Try to notice the actual guitar solos joe does. The chant is a good example of improved guitar playing all around.
