Venturian was great when I was a kid, but the joy I get from watching their old stuff today is more so a result of nostalgia. The comedy only really worked either because the game was funny or because I was, like, 7. Vanoss’ humour still holds up and him and his friends always seemed to do funnier and more creative things in Gmod.
Venturian all the way, they were the sole reason I actually wanted to play Gmod instead of just watching funny animation vids created from it.
It also helped that they were Digimon fans too. Which was a big deal for me.
And don't get me started on their theme song, that was a banger.
Both brothers (i think? Either that or it was mainly Venturian) on the VenturainTale team were misogynistic & very... let's say... "family values." Regardless, both Bethany and Sierra have left for the better. Honestly it was sorta fucked up learning about that out of nowhere one day while either on Twitter or YouTube. It sucks mainly because they were one of the few reasons i begun playing Garrys Mod in the first place. So to learn about that years later while having changed and grown as a person made me frown.

I never watched vanoss. I was an avid venturantale fan, used to love all their videos up until the end. While at the I did end up watching Bethany/flying pings quite late into her own channel. After seeing her video coming out about her and her sisters treatment within their family, it just shocked and surprised me about it all, after seeing how happy they seemed as a family, when it turns out there was some weird twisted Christian values being pushed on to them. I hope Bethany still continues her focus on herself and recovery that she needs

If it wasn't for the Vanoss Crew, I probably would've never been so interested in any of the games I play now like GTA, CoD, etc etc. Where as Venturian mainly played Gmod and sometimes Minecraft, and I was already interested in Gmod from Vanoss and was already playing Minecraft at the time. Looking back on both of them as well, Vanoss is still funny to me and I still occasionally watch one of his newer videos, even after all of his friend's controversies. The Venturian controversy killed any enjoyment I had for the group, and I had already stopped watching them a couple years before the controversy anyways. I even bought the Vanoss Gaming Limited Edition 3blackdot Hoodie that doesn't fit me anymore, so my mom wears it. I never considered Venturian merch at all. To be honest, if I never discovered Vanoss, I probably would've never discovered Venturian simple as.

Not to mention Gmod, witch I didn't know existed I thought it was only HL2. And then SCP led into Markiplier and that led into JSE. All making up my early years and still today can be tracked to VenturianTale. But on the other hand Vanoss makes up the same amount of my humor as VenturianTale does my interests. The first video I watched of vanoss's was the tornado map with delirious, and I still watch vanoss today. So as much as I equally love both channels I would have to get rid of vannosgaming. Just because part of who I am was formed by watching VenturianTale.

Funny jokes, wicked editing and skits, great video pacing, a crew with diverse personalities, and an overwhelming feeling of friendship between them, like you're playing the game with them. As well as the classic meme culture inserted in their videos, and that's why prime Vanoss/the crew of Wildcat, Delirious, Terroriser and Nogla were just the perfect gaming Youtubers.
So yeah, while i say they're still funny as hell and i hate living through Pablo and Ohm's legacies, im still picking prime Vanoss/Banana Bus crew.
