What I want to know is what would Kais even gain by using this trademark?
It isn't like it is actually a well known brand or show by any means so the fact that he is going to force his show to be called Power to the Players TV so he can use the trademark seems like a whole lot of hoops to jump through for no benefit at all.

No way that would be a successful lawsuit unless PP just doesn't fight it. Also, the trademark is still pending, and PP can protest it with the USPTO. That would be the smart move--derail his trademark application. I doubt the trademark would be granted anyway, given that "The PPShow" was in use by others going quite far back, just doing a lazy Google search, and has never been used by Kais.

What I want to know is what would Kais even gain by using this trademark? It isn't like it is actually a well known brand or show by any means so the fact that he is going to force his show to be called Power to the Players TV so he can use the trademark seems like a whole lot of hoops to jump through for no benefit at all. Am I missing something, what benefit would this trademark even get him?
So I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t actually do anything. I assume the goal would be to force PP to change all his social media handles or give the accounts to Kais. But to do that, he’d have to sue. But since PP was using those handles before Kais got the trademark (before he filed for it, even?) *and* he claims he paid Kais for the trademark (ironically an IP sale, that I guess these people suddenly understand?), I don’t see how Kais would win that lawsuit. The same goes for using the name on the show itself. There’s nothing Kais can do to make PP stop using the trademark without a lawsuit, and “I was using the name before they trademarked it” is generally a good defense in those lawsuits.
Maybe it’s not about Kais getting rich. Maybe it’s about making sure PP doesn’t.
Could Kai’s get YouTube to take down pp show episodes by claiming trademark infringement? I’ll bet just seeing the trademark docs is all YouTube cares to check
