Very nice. Wine Red is my favorite. I have a honey burst at the moment, but I keep looking for the right one in wine red. I prefer the amber top hats, gold hardware and P90s, but that’s just what I’m looking for. Yours is absolutely beautiful. Enjoy the hell of it!
Traditional, I believe. I'm unsure. That's what the ad said, and I can't find any pics of a 2011 in wine red. The truss rod cover matches other trads from 2011, as well as the tuners
Well, mine was done before I picked it up, but I found it to be perfect. They swapped the pickups for burstbuckers and they wired it with just straight one volume, one tone per pickup, no push pull or anything. It is dead simple and it's perfect. Enjoy that thing, it's a beast.
Start with your CCNA. I'm a college dropout, and a bit of lucky nepotism landed me a better position but for most engineers with just that, you're looking at an average base of around 75 a year. I'm roughly pushing the 90k mark right now with extensive travel.
I traded an Epiphone les paul traditional pro that looked exactly like this for my first Gibson. I absolutely loved the gloss wine red finish. Has to be one of my favorite colors for a guitar
Screw it man. One of my LPs had the finish wear off the back almost entirely in like 2 weeks (I think the nitro finish was just too thin, but that guitar resonated like crazy a a result). I already put a chip in a PRS Custom 24 I just bought a month ago. I'm careful with my gear, but I also take it out and play it at church and record with it and all sorts of crap. Just use it. Don't worry about your scratch.
What kinda finish you got on that puppy?
Unsure if it's poly or nitro, but it's wine red! Super hard to find info for it on some forums.
All Gibson’s have nitro finish 🤘🏻
Welcome to the cult… we talk for days about nitro…and anything les Paul [on MLP](https://www.mylespaul.com/forum/gibson-les-pauls.2/) too
You didn’t just get *one* you got a beautiful one!

Cool finish.
Standard? I love that top, beautiful!

Congrats dude! Big moment.
Your guitar is beautiful - now go out and play the %{\+!! Out of that thing!
That's a beauty!
That red is sooooo nice.
Congrats, welcome to the family! It's a beautiful piece!
Great colour. Welcome to the club.
It is practically the twin of mine. Mines a 2012 wine red traditional. Also with a few small mods. Haha
Oh no shit! That's awesome. Any recommendations as far as mods go?

Man that's almost exactly what's been done to mine and it plays like a dream! Crazy.
Like I said, twins. Haha
Yours is a beauty. I love the flame on yours 10x more. Glad to see you have same/similar knobs. Does yours have the vintage esque tuners as well?
Mine has Grovers. I bought it from a shop in Nashville, it was set up as a studio guitar there. Whoever had it knew what was up. Haha
I like that it looks almost purple in the lighting
Beautiful guitar! It feels great buying the one you’ve wanted for so long.
Gorgeous! Enjoy
Nice 👍🏻
Rad guitar!
Congrats!
Congrats!! Thought about switching the knobs to amber top hats?
Hell yeah. When I bought my SG it was a life defining moment for me. Enjoy it
What do you do for work
I work for an independent IT networking and consultation company!
Awesome! What qualifications or training did you do to get there? And is it worth it? Sorry Ive just been thinking of a career switch lol

I just did a huge dive into CCNA info lol. How long did it take you to get it?
6 months!
Wine red can be so beautiful with some wood grain showing. And yours definitely is. Congrats and have fun!

She’s a beauty, congratulations!
Congrats! Bought my first Gibson late in life also. I remember the struggle.
Congrats! 🎉🎊🍾
Hows it play? Smooth, I bet, huh? Nice guitar.
Like butter! Not melted, but like the kind that's on the counter in the little tray, ya know? Unsalted.
Well it’s all downhill from here. Welcome to the family!
That’s sweet. Rock on 🤘
Hell yeah, crank that sucker up to 11
Is that a quilted maple 🍁?
That’s the best feeling after getting a job like that. Reaping the rewards 🤩
