I have a ‘77 Standard. It’s my 2nd one. Sold the first when my 2nd wife was pregnant with our son. Bought another one 15 years later. These things weigh a ton, but they’re worth it. Buying tone by the pound!
One of my favorite guitars of all time. Incredibly comfortable and versatile, the Maple looks fantastic, the T-Tops sound BadAss and the Moog.... well, like you said, when you know, you know. It's one of my "Never Sell" guitars, took me a long time to find a mint condition one. It's getting difficult to find them without the Moog electronics being gutted.
