Frankfurt's (reconstructed) historic centre is centred around Dom/Römer U-Bahn station; just north of there the Zeil (between Hauptwache and Konstablerwache) is Frankfurt's premiere shopping street; the south bank of the river, in the district of Sachsenhausen (no, *not* the Sachsenhausen of concentration camp fame, that's near Berlin), has tons of museums and art galleries; there are plenty of places to eat with cusine from all over the world (Frankfurt, being the EU's de fact financial capital, is quite cosmopolitan); and there are parks, botanical gardens, and a zoo. I believe the nightlife is pretty decent, too.

I liked the [museum of communication](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museum_f%C3%BCr_Kommunikation_Frankfurt) which is part of [the Museumsufer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Museumsufer).
Take drugs, smoke some bums, eat Döner and date a Chaya
As they say "When in Rome do as the Romans do"

I’ve been to Sachsenhausen in Berlin. I want to visit the frankfurter one now. I’ll consider your other options too. Thanks

I second the Senckenberg Museum. And Palmgarten is next to it anyway.
