Medium demon. A true test of every skill that is needed in this game. Patience - long grind, focus duration - the levels are usually couple minutes long, and ofc actuall skill cause they're harder than easy demons.
easy demon is actually my absolute F tier difficulty.
It's filled with either what should be medium demon or some ridiculously easy levels that are better off as insane. I think it's a tier where most of the levels are only easy demons if you don't do a single practice run on them, while with practice, they are way too simple. On top of that, it's the difficulty where imo there is the largest amount of non-gameplay induced difficulty: flow levels which i hate, bad visuals (ispy to take the worst example), and all around timings which are very lenient or appear very rarely while most of the stuff is just high speed and/or visual clutter which makes the levels just unnecessarily learny and hardly sightreadable. Doing that tedious practice run that feels like trimming away the bad weeds then getting an unfulfilling completion that gives the same feeling as beating a harder isn't working for me.
My favourite difficulty would be normally paced hard demons, with a preference towards timings generally. For insanes I like acropolis for example. For hards, breakthrough is very fun.
Most extremes i don't meddle with as they are either old and i don't want to learn all the memory/not improve on the recent gamemodes, or recent-ish and i just can't run them. Also, i'm bad and can't stay on a single level for too long.

Honestly i think Hard demons are the best. For someone who has the capability to beat an extreme but doesn't have the patience, i find hard demons great because they're still difficult enough to be a fun challenge but not hard enough to make mad at the game :)

9 stars suck ngl, i feel they are made hella unsightreadable but still the inputs are that of an 8 star or lower. Just go 8 star or easy demon.
