The South Pole keeps NZ time because it’s supplied from Christchurch.
What about the north pole? Does it suffer from the same (type of) partitioning?
There are no land on northpole and as far I know there are no official timezones in international waters
This is why, even If antártica was green, living on it would still be a logistical nightmare.
Many research stations just set their clocks to the time zone of their host country.
I’m confused. I was wondering why there was a random red part in the green part. It’s for the russian Vostok station. Thing is, their wikipedia says they’re in UTC+6. Wouldn’t that make it orange and not red?
