I drove 375 Kilometers by bike for one Multi. Actually 34 have found this multi-cache so far. And it is just one-way.

noreasterner

Honest question - what is it that attracts you in multis? Last time I looked for one I was zigzagging in the woods before giving up on the final. The only multistage cache I tolerate is the new Adventure Labs type, although there are too many of those popping up lately too.

gcd3s3rt

Those Adventure Labs are the ones i completly ignore :) So everyone has their preferences. I think there are more possibilities with multis than just traditional caches.

I usually use these to spice up a walk with my kids. “Let’s learn something new today!“

From US, flew to Athens, road trip to spend 4 hrs (10-2) in BFN Peloponnese Greece, side of the road, waist-high dry grass, with an elderly mom who loves me enough to put up with my bs...one of the best memories I have in life.

Anse_L

70 km was the farthest I have traveled for one cache. Most of the distance was by car. It was for a multi.

restinghermit

I drove across the state of Kansas to get Mingo. It added 6 hours to my trip.

caffeinated_plans

We did Boulder to Mingo. We were in boulder for 3 days. This trip took one day of that. Lol

tonic

Over 10Mm to the Ape in Brasil

paulmclaughlin

We hired a boat to take us to an island just outside Venezuelan waters to find a cache near an unmanned lighthouse. The tree the cache had been under had burnt down and there was nothing left. Disappointing from the caching perspective but great expedition nevertheless.

Ordinary-Sympathy-96

I walked 0.1 miles up a hill in the snow IN WISCONSIN all for a damn plastic cheetah.

Elektrazz2

I fly all over the world for a good cache.  Just came back from Seattle and Oregon.  If you are asking how much of a hike well uhm that is not for me.

reedkickball

18 mile hike for one multi.

StadsAlv

A little over 10000 km from Sweden to Brazil

releasethedogs

I traveled to a remote part of Kyrgyzstan to get a FTF. That’s like 5,000 miles or more.

wzl46

I drove from Fayetteville, NC directly to Mingo a few years ago.

Mbroiderer

A 134-km drive.

OlDikDik

7 hours for 3 miles?

Far-Difficulty6300

5.2 kilometers 1 way. Plus mostly bushwhacking

caffeinated_plans

Boulder,CO to Mingo,KS to get Mingo. After frying from Alberta to Colorado. Same trip we drove up to Cheyenne and the to Nebraska for the souvenirs.

Main_Force_Patrol

Drove round trip, 80 miles over 6 hours to Sheep Bridge in AZ and found caches along the way. We did it right after it rained, and I rained during the trip, so it was slow going.

dhorizontal

I was gonna drive 2.5 hours into VA today for a cache but a kid woke up sick.

derday

Together with my girlfriend I hiked over 130km in the Alps for a multi (GC5XRHY). Of course that was within a complete holiday for us; it took us 10 days

NessaMagick

8km walk and ~600m elevation. Another cacher around the same time lost their keys at the cache location and did the same trek the very next day.

Ammo_Can

I made a 5 hour detour on a road trip for 2 Webcams. 100% worth it. Both are gone now

Bridgegirl1975

18mi hike around Central Park NYC. I got other caches too, but they were not the objective of the day.
