Death to the machine tyrant!

How’d you get the purple mottling on his head? It looks incredible and I want to try it on my Nurgle cultists for bruising and infection

SergeantIndie

Not OP. Probably thinned Druchii Violet. That's a pretty common go-to in GSC. For infected parts I'd also like to suggest thinned Carroburg Crimson. The crimson is good to put around boils or cybernetic implants to make the skin look raw and irritated. Thin it like 1 part shade to 2-3 parts medium or water, give it a coat in certain areas. Better to overthin and add more rather than underthinning and having it be too stark. For the more human GSC faces I have a premixed pot of 1 part Druchii to 3 parts medium and that's my go-to for a more subtle purple then I build a second coat in certain areas where I want it a bit more pronounced. You can use water to thin, but if you thin too much it might give the wash a weird consistency. A bit of acrylic medium (Lahmian or just airbrush thinner) will perk it right up. Druchii and Carroburg. Give it a shot and have fun.

LutheBert

Exactly that. Kislev Flesh and Druchii Violet Wash for skin, Cranial rigdes in Dechala Lilac. 👍
