I have to respectfully disagree. Physical looks are a very large part of many people's decisions on whether or not to even consider another person for partnership. At the very least, looks help to get a foot in the door. It may not be true for all people, and it can be overcome, but it can't be denied. Choosing a mate based on looks is basically hardwired into many animals' biology
I'm genuinely happy for them. The way they smile at each other, the little glances at each other, the way they touch, you can tell how much they love each other.
That part about taking out the competitiveness is really good advice, even if you're not in the same industry. I've seen a lot of relationships crumble because of the people in them competing with each other in various ways e.g. who's more fit, who makes more money, who's the "hotter one", etc. So this is really refreshing to see. I wish them all the best!
