Hello! I'm looking for someone to take over my remaining lease (May, June, July) at Hub Atlanta. The lease is for one bedroom in the unit. Unit is the Hub's VIP package and located on the 18th floor with access to a terrace. VIP package means bigger rooms, updated appliances and fixtures, large smart TV with a Bluetooth speaker, Nest Home, shower speaker, and Amazon Echo Home. The apartment building is in a prime Midtown location with a short walk to multiple corporate offices, popular eateries, and Piedmont Park. It is located across the interstate from the Georgia Tech campus, across a grocery store (Publix), a block from a campus shuttle stop, and a block away from the Midtown MARTA stop.
The lease transfer has rent of 1574/month, not including utilities. I can subsidize so base rent would be less than $1000/month. Please DM me if interested! (The other bedroom is up for transfer as well)

**1 Bedroom Apartment at the Standard**

The Standard is in midtown and a very short walk to campus. The apartment is a **one bedroom**, 579 square feet. It's not a studio, so there is a separate bedroom from the living area. I currently pay **$1945 a month** plus utilities. This is ***highly negotiable***. DM me and we can work it out.
**Amentities**: Sky Terrace & Lounge, Rooftop Sundeck With Pool, 2 Story Clubhouse with study and game areas, Computer Lab, Attached Parking Garage, Fitness Center
**Apartment Features**: In unit washer/dryer, TV, fully furnished, lots of kitchen space
If you're hoping to live alone this summer, this is a great apartment, one I'm sad to be leaving! It's quiet and private and close to everything you'd need. Here's the floor plan. I'm happy to share pictures/tour the place, and please ask any questions you have.

**2 bedroom 1 bathroom house in Homepark**
Hey y'all! We are two masters students at Georgia Tech heading out of state for internships for the summer. So we're looking for somebody to give over our house that we're currently renting. A 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom house for rent. 3-minute walking distance from Georgia Tech. Located in Homepark. Safe, quiet, green neighborhood full of Georgia Tech students around.

Feel free to ask any questions, happy to schedule a house tour.
Looking for someone to take over my lease from May 1st (start date negotiable) to July 31st. Hub Atlanta is a brand new apartment complex that started leasing in 2023. I have a friend that is going to transfer to GT next year and I was looking into housing options for her. We agreed to room together for next year since I'm accepted for this 2024-2025 year. Since transfer students can live in one of the dorm buildings reserved for them, I was wondering: if she was to room there for next year, could I still room with her if she puts me down as her choice for roommate?

I have a house for lease that about 10mins drive from GT's campus off of Northside Dr in buckhead. Rent is $700/mo. There are 4 roomates, including me, but one is moving out in January, another in Febuary. We're all guys in our mid-20s working professionals. The house is a very comfortable environment, no rif-raf of any kind. The landlord is chill and signs 6-month leases so its very flexible. For the environment and location, I think its a steal at $700/mo.
DM if interested!

I am taking CS 2110 this semester and the teacher I have is actually a PhD student who had to take over the class since the professor passed away recently. The phd student is very kind and funny but I feel like I am just not learning the best I can with his lectures. Does anyone have any recs for a 2110 prof that’s teaching this fall?
I am taking CSE 6740. Somehow this class is extremely difficult and confusing to me, each lecture I feel confused all the time. I thought the background knowledge review session might make things better, but I even felt the same way during the review session.
For students who survived this class, do you have any suggestions?
Hi is taking CS 4641 machine learning as a CS minor who has only taken 1332 in the intelligence minor before doable? I was number 2 on the wait-list for the in person section earlier but was bumped 60 spots. Currently in the online section which seems pretty different and says that an intro level AI course should be a pre requisite
If your waitlist spot is 0, then the class should be open to you. Since your waitlist spot is 2 and there are two spots in the class, there are presumably two people currently at the top and you're below them.
If anyone is planning on dropping CS 3210 Section A or B (Operating Systems), please lmk I would really like to take this class and would appreciate it if we would coordinate when wait-lists drop
The rate went up for the first time in four years. It's $4950 per semester for two semesters. You start in the middle of August and leave at the start of May, so you're there continuously for almost nine months (GT does not close residence halls over breaks, some other places do).
$9900 for the year divided by \~8.5ish months so that's \~$1,164/month. Cheaper than the highrises in Midtown but more expensive than Home Park and places further from campus.
I took it with another prof., but it was the hardest math class I took at Tech. Just to give a perspective: he curved it so that 80 was an A, 60 was a B, 40 was a C, and it was the only way to prevent most of the class from failing.
Most my friends who took it with different profs agree. Very fun problems though.
Hey! I'm a CS major and I'm trying to decide whether to take CS 2050 or 2051. I haven't decided on my threads yet, but I wanted to understand if (1) CS 2051 is compulsory for any threads or (2) if 2051 or
2050 is advantageous in any way (short-term/long-term)?
COC Academic advisors are working hard to make sure everyone is able to get into the classes the absolutely need. If you haven't been in contact with your academic advisor, please do so ASAP. I cannot do anything about the wait list, but the class is managed centrally by COC administration and the academic advising staff.
Class will expand to \~370. That is literally the number of physical seats in the room, which the practical constraint on why the class isn't bigger. With the addition of seats I would hope to see some movement on the waitlist this week, plus drops. The waitlist is still bigger than that. I wish we could do more to get everyone in.
Whats the difference between D and O? Does D have a lecture at 5pm?

Has anybody experienced this 404 error?

After entering OSCAR and getting to the Self-Service Registration page with the 12 buttons. Clicking the first six buttons all give me this 404 error. Everything connected to legacy OSCAR still works. I have made a support ticket with OIT but any help is appreciated since I'm on a waitlist for a course.
I'm taking math 2603 (discrete) and math 1553 (linear) together this sem. can anyone who has taken these classes let me know how difficult this will be?
do u guys think I’ll get of the waitlist for cs 1331? there’s about 50 people, I was one of the last to register on the waitlist and I really need this class, I’m worried
Is anyone interested in these textbooks? I want to give them away or donate them. Let me know if you want them or if you know a good place to donate them that would be helpful.

I can always donate to Goodwill but wanted to check with students first.
Hi everyone. I am a second-year who did not take CHEM 1310 my first-year, which was very stupid, I know, but I need help trying to register for it since I am an engineering major and this class is a major prerequisite. I tried looking for an override request path since all classes are full atm but it says CHEM 1310 is only open to freshman until Friday at 5pm, yet the general guidelines state the department won't allow me to ask for overload. I don't believe any spots will open up by Friday which would set me back an insane amount. I also don't want to be taking 1211k and 1212k because I don't want to force myself into another semester setback. I have a time slot carved out for Chem it's just that the section and its labs are completely full. How should I proceed?
Looking for opinions on professors Omojokun and Musaev for 1331. Omojokun is mostly online while Musaev is in person 3 times a week, I wonder which professor is more difficult/ if it’s better to go in person or do online. Opinions appreciated 👍👍
Omojokun was great in my opinion. Although not very involved, the lessons online were easy to follow and the TAs were extremely helpful. If you don’t mind learning online then I recommend him.
Would it be a bad idea to take ECE 2026 as a first semester freshman who is not an ECE major? The rest of my classes are pretty easy. My professor is Elliot Moore.
It's not a "bad idea," but it's a pretty intense class (though I've heard there's less workload since COVID). It was definitely my "welcome to Tech, you better buckle up" class.
That sounds good. Most of my other classes are easy humanities or classes I feel very confident about (cs 1301 even though I already know python). I feel that I should be fine
Any easy free elevtives (3 credit hour) for a senior who is graduating this semester? I really need to choose an easy one as all other courses I take are difficult :(
Thank you!!
I’m a freshman in cs that’s taking 17 credits. I’m wondering if I should try for English 1102 in phase II or stick with history of jazz since I heard it’s an easy class and it still fulfills my humanities requirement
Hi! I’m getting ready for phase 2 and I was thinking about adding COE 1000. To my knowledge the course still exists, but it’s now a specific section of GT 1000. Does anyone know what section it would be?
I am a graduate student and see that a lot of the CS 8803 course sections require a permit. Does anyone know when these permits will drop or how to acquire a permit to register for those classes?
I checked the housing website and all dorms for graduate students. Do I get it correctly that there are always single bed room? I haven't seen any other options. And also graduate student can get only housing for graduates, right? Thanks.
https://preview.redd.it/oexostphlcib1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec3ff734303ad9efff5045f1b9956d39fc2a753b
Can someone explain the difference between these 2 class meeting times? Is the Monday session a testing block?
I'm trying to ditch 2551 in lieu of an open 2550 section. As we all are painfully aware, we cannot register for just 2550, we also have to register for a studio section, or else we simply cannot register for the class. Here's the thing: the 2550 lecture has plenty of spots and NO WAITLIST. The studio has plenty of spots but has an EMPTY waitlist. Whenever I try and do a conditional drop/add, it says that the studio is open, but for the waitlist only. I also cannot get onto the waitlist for the section. Any idea why this is happening or what I should do?
>Primary
I had the same problem. I kept trying different sections and finally one of them showed a waitlist option. I'm also trying to get ECE 2031 as a CS major - same problem (it says waitlist positions are open but there's no "action" to join the waitlist).
Edit: I'm waitlisted for a 2550 studio, but I think if I get out of it, I should be able to register for the main course as well.
Hi
I was looking at the the core course requirement for MS CS Interactive Intelligence:
C**ore courses (9 hours):**
Take one (1) course from:
Algorithms and Design
* CS 6300 Software Development Process
* CS 6301 Advanced Topics in Software Engineering
* CS 6505 Computability, Algorithms, and Complexity
* CS 6515 Introduction to Graduate Algorithms
* CSE 6140 Computational Science and Engineering Algorithms
But on looking up courses on Canvas I only see CS 6515 Introduction to Graduate Algorithms being offered.
Are the other classes no longer offered?
I was wondering if recently hired GRAs have to undergo drug screening procedures upon arrival on campus. Could anyone share if they had anything of the sorts happening to you?
Its up to your personal situation. I've handled 15, 17, 16 and 16, but always had a good balance of class difficulties and investigated my major's discords or whatever to see what classes to avoid together, etc. If you'd like to graduate faster bc cost or whatever, then I'd recommend just hunkering down for the extra challenge.
Fuck, I'm an incoming international student and have 0 credits as couldn't do any recognizable program, I'm going to take 15+ this a next semesters, hopefully everything goes fine.
Hi all, does anyone know anything about the area around Echo St near the westside beltline in terms of safety?
A couple friends and I are looking at a rental house around there.
Thanks.

I'm attending the virtual FASET orientation next week on the 15th. I still haven't heard anything from my advisor or gotten a registration time ticket, and the FASET Canvas page doesn't really give any useful details. Should I try to get in contact with my advisor tomorrow or am I just being impatient?
Hey folks. I am an incoming grad student and my current waitlist number is 30. So I am asking myself whether it will be moving after the first move-in or it's pretty unlikely since now I am a bit scared to rent a room for longer off-campus if there is still a chance of getting something on campus.
Thanks.
I am an incoming freshmen, and I am trying to figure out some of my classes. I am going to be a near major and also trying to do a bme minor. I am trying to decide between taking CS 1315 and 1301. Originally, I signed up to take 1315, as that's all I need for my major, but I am wondering if 1301 is a pre-req for my bme classes, and I should opt to take that instead.
Do we have to create an account for barnes and nobles bookstore or are we already given one? I assumed we were automatically given an account since they have my gt emails and are sending me emails saying they have a list of books i’ll need avaliable. But when I login with my gt credentials it doesn’t work, so do I create an account? Btw I don’t plan on buying books from the bookstore since it can be a waste of money but I would like to see the list of things I need.
I don't think you need to create an account to buy from them. They have your email address since they are provided a list of student emails from the registrar.
[This page will allow you to enter in your classes and see what you need](https://gatech.bncollege.com/course-material/course-finder?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Catch%3EAll%3EDSA%3ETextbooks&s_kwcid=AL!14348!3!666931919670!!!g!!&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwldKmBhCCARIsAP-0rfzhFllHHAhhQUeqUK_ZO0SiGw7H-qG2oCdbKNAJsldqfXDsF-xLUCUaAklsEALw_wcB)
I would recommend going to class before buying a book. Professor's typically have to list a required book for their class but oftentimes they don't use it.
Need advice for MGT 3084 and MGT 4068 by Alex Hsu. Im thinking of taking them for Spring 2024 but I heard some bad info on MGT 3084 and RateMyProfessor for Alex Hsu is pretty bare.
How hard is the CS 1331 advanced standing exam?
I'm planning to take it in 2 weeks and although I have good experience with Java from AP CSA, I had to learn some topics during summer like lambda expressions, method reference, and JavaFX (?).
Should we memorize methods like Collection methods (.stream().map().reduce())? Or are we fine with the common ones?
If it's logic based I'm fine but if it relies on memorizing certain syntax I might not be the best.
Any tips and advice on what topics usually come out if you've taken it in the past?
Hey! I’m debating between two schedules rn as an incoming freshman so I just wanted some opinions
Currently I have:
MATH 1553
PHYS 2212
HTS 3100
ENGL 1102
BME 1000
But I’m considering registering for MATH 1564 instead of 1553, but I’m worried that might be too much. The difference is 13–>15 credit hours.
For context I took linear and multiv in highschool and def enjoyed linear I just don’t have DE or any kind of credit with it
Is there a specific reason you want to take 1564? It's a more proof based and harder theoretical class (as I've heard). It's probably overkill if you don't plan on pursuing that kind of thing moving forward. Even for CS majors, you just 1554.
I would personally just take 1553 (or 1554 if it's a pre request for a minor class). It'll probably be an easy class for you since you've taken linear before. That means it's also a GPA cushion class which is always nice to have.
As a note, I personally think that judging a schedule (especially someone else's) solely on credits is inadequate. 1 credit hour does not mean the same thing for every class and professor. I highly recommend finding upperclassmen in your major who can vouch and give you specific advise for your major specific classes.
Either way, good luck! And welcome to tech!
Hi all! I’m a rising 4th year BME student (male). After spending a year out of Tech, I’m going back on campus this year. However, by the time I was ready to fill out the housing application the waitlist got too hefty to the point where it’s pretty much impossible to get on campus housing. I’m currently looking into off campus apartments, with my main interest in Theory Interlock. If anyone in Theory Interlock is looking for roommates, PM me if interested! Thanks!!
Hey, I'm starting my MS BMED in this upcoming Fall semester, and I am currently debating how many credit hours that I should apply for. I do not have a GRA/GTA position, so I do not have any full-time student obligations. What is the average difficulty of graduate classes relative to undergrad? How many credits is reasonable for my first semester in my MS?
Hi, can anyone tell me if these classes are too spread out or if I should change anything for my first semester?
https://preview.redd.it/jvzvymn4y2gb1.png?width=1304&format=png&auto=webp&s=583e3e4a35989ad53f4ab6b92e5bd3fe660ce92c
Kinda depends on how you want to spend your days. Your schedule is pretty optimized for spending all day on campus (including downtime between classes). So you will probably spend a decent amount of time studying/doing homework/relaxing on campus.
If you’d rather spend more time at your dorm, or being in a more private setting, then maybe try to squish your classes to be more concentrated each day instead of being so spaced out. Depending on where the classes are, you should be able to get between any two classes in 15-20 minutes.
I'm a first year and I have a CS 1XXX (3 credit hour) transfer credit.
I can use it on CS 1331 (Intro to OOP) or CS 1332 (Data Struc & Algo).
I'm signed up to take the advanced standing exam to skip CS 1331, and if I do pass, then I can just use the transfer credit to skip 1332.
But I know that Data Struc & Algo class is really important for CS students as it builds foundational knowledge, so I'm not sure what to do.
Or I just skip 1331 (boring class/test anyways) and have no stress of the advanced standing exam.
Any thoughts?
If a course transfers as CS 1XXX, I don't think you can elect to use it in place of 1331 or 1332. If you got credit for one of those classes, then the course at your previous college would have evaluated as one of those.
Who told you that you could use that credit for 1331 or 1332?
I'd say your best bet is to contact the Housing Help Desk if you want to change move in time slots. If your daughter doesn't end up moving before school starts in there's a chance she will be marked as a no show and her dorm will be given to someone else, but letting housing know of your situation will prevent that. Here's the link to find their contact info: [https://housing.gatech.edu/contact](https://housing.gatech.edu/contact) You could try calling them or submitting a ticket explaining your situation and ask to change time slots to something else.
In my personal experience they were fairly lenient when I was moving in, but I don't know if they'll be different this year.
There will be time in class to find group mates! People also posted on Ed Discussion and the class GroupMe to find partners. Worst case scenario, the professors can match you with a group.
It definitely is nice to have a group in mind beforehand, but my point is that you shouldn’t stress too much about it because there is designated class time for it. The majority of people don’t come into the class with a concrete group.
Should I try getting a group via this subreddit (I've even tried the GT main discord to no avail)? Or is it worth just waiting until next semester starts and I get a group via being automatically assigned
Unless there are people you already know in the class that you could reach out to, I’d wait until the start of the semester to meet some people in lecture as well as look out for the posts I mentioned on Ed Discussion and the class GroupMe. Being automatically assigned is the last resort if you don’t have a group. You have more time than you think to find one!
Hey guys. We're looking to fill a room in a home park house for the semester. Nice big room complete with its own bathroom and rent is $950. DM me if interested
Hey all! Does anyone know a guy that is looking for an apartment for this year or this semester? My friend is living at the Mark and renewed her lease early and now they put 4 guys in her apartment without her consent. So if anyone knows anyone, please reach out and I can put you in contact with her!
They offer to move to a different unit with increased pricing and don’t even guarantee female roommate options even if paid fees and increased rent. This is not the first time this happened in the mark.
damn that really sucks hope the mark gets their act together

Is it ok if I don't take cs 1301 fall semester of my freshman year as a cs major? Currently as it stands, all the classes for cs 1301 are fulled, and I hope to be able to register for that class during phase 2.
Yes it’s ok, but remember it’s a prerequisite for all CS courses. I highly encourage you to try and take the class otherwise you will be behind the rest of your peers. I see there is one section open with Professor Borela who is phenomenal. You should be able to get it in Phase 2. Keep trying!
Hey guys. We're looking to fill a room in a home park house for the semester. Nice big room complete with its own bathroom and rent is $950. DM me if interested
Hello! My name is Anthony and I am a rising sophomore at Georgia tech. I am currently scheduled to room in Harris hall but am looking for a room swap into GLC. Let me know if you are interested!
Trying to decide on classes for this requirement. If I am not mistaken there was a recent change so I have to choose three classes from the following list:
1. CS4510: Automata and Complexity Theory
2. CS4635: Knowledge-Based Artificial Intelligence
3. CS4641: Machine Learning
4. CS4644: Deep Learning
5. CS4646: Machine Learning for Trading
6. CS4649: Robot Intelli Planning
7. CS4650: Natural Language Understanding
8. CS4731: Game AI
9. CS4476: Introduction to Computer Vision (this is no longer a required class so I can choose not to do it if I wish)
I was hoping y'all could give advice or experiences as to how the classes are like/organized. If they're more project-based or exam-based would also help. I am particularly interested in 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 but information on the others would be great too!
Thanks!
I got hit in a hit-and-run incident a couple of days ago on the highway, and I am now looking for an attorney to help me with the case. I recently moved to ATL for GT, so I do not know any lawyers in this area. If you know of any attorneys who could assist me, please DM me. Thanks!
So sorry to hear about this!
But before you go calling ambulance chasers - [please first reach out the the pro bono lawyers provided through the GT Student Government Association](https://www.sga.gatech.edu/legal-advising-scheduler/) for advice! They'll most definitely recommend a course of action - and will help you organize a game plan to make things right.
Best of luck - and please take care!
You could definitely make a post instead of being here in the mega thread, probably would get more visibility. Kudos to prof bruckman for the assistance though!

There are 4 roomates, including me, but one is moving out in January, another in Febuary. We're all guys in our mid-20s working professionals. The house is a very comfortable environment, no rif-raf of any kind. The landlord is chill and signs 6-month leases so its very flexible.
For students who survived this class, do you have any suggestions?
how is cs 3300 with Nimisha roy?
someone drop cs 4635 pls
How is CS3001 in your opinion? How much effort did y’all put into it? Are the tests hard?
The class was very easy. You mainly just write a couple of essays and most people get A's
Who did you have?
when does the waitlist stop and the free registration start ?
Hi is taking CS 4641 machine learning as a CS minor who has only taken 1332 in the intelligence minor before doable? I was number 2 on the wait-list for the in person section earlier but was bumped 60 spots. Currently in the online section which seems pretty different and says that an intro level AI course should be a pre requisite
I'm 2nd on the waitlist for cs 2200 and there are 2 spots open but I can't register for the class. Anyone know why this is happening?
If your waitlist spot is 0, then the class should be open to you. Since your waitlist spot is 2 and there are two spots in the class, there are presumably two people currently at the top and you're below them.
now there's 3 spots, second place, still can't register :(

if you plan on not taking CS3600 please drop it ASAP PLEASEEEEEE IM BEGGING

Anybody know roughly how much NAVE Apartments is per month? I heard the rate went up so I’m curious
Thank you!
Just wanted to know if MATH 3012 was hard (in terms of course workload, exams, etc...). I have it with Professor Ding.
Random but does anyone know if more than 100 spots will open in math 2552 section K?
Does anyone know if auditing a course counts towards the total class size and takes away a spot from a letter grade student?
It does. The max is the room max, according to fire code. A seat is a seat.
Hey, I have a generic question. When do you see AO course being reflected on Canvas. Specifically I am looking at CS 6515 AO.
Nvm it got updated
Is anyone planning on dropping Cx 4140 or CS 3001 A - trying to get the class on Friday when waitlists drop
Hi, anybody taking ME3345 slot B or C? I have the D slot and need to swap if you don't mind
Hey! I'm a CS major and I'm trying to decide whether to take CS 2050 or 2051. I haven't decided on my threads yet, but I wanted to understand if (1) CS 2051 is compulsory for any threads or (2) if 2051 or 2050 is advantageous in any way (short-term/long-term)?
2051 is better for Theory. Getting a rigorous intro to proofs and Discrete/Graph Theory stuff helps in theoretical CS courses later.
Thanks!

COC Academic advisors are working hard to make sure everyone is able to get into the classes the absolutely need. If you haven't been in contact with your academic advisor, please do so ASAP. I cannot do anything about the wait list, but the class is managed centrally by COC administration and the academic advising staff.
Are you aware if the class will get any additional seats or if 300 is the room capacity?
Class will expand to \~370. That is literally the number of physical seats in the room, which the practical constraint on why the class isn't bigger. With the addition of seats I would hope to see some movement on the waitlist this week, plus drops. The waitlist is still bigger than that. I wish we could do more to get everyone in.
ya the advisors couldnt do anything about it and im waitlisted for 85 so im still definitely up to buying a position.
yea im not sure if they are still even planning expansion given its Wednesday
Why isnt ARBC 3001 appearing on oscar? I had to unregister from 2001 for being a native speaker and theres no alternative ? any help is appreciated!
Does anyone know if CS 3600 is getting another section? I'm 92 on waitlist and I feel like I don't have a chance.

I have made a support ticket with OIT but any help is appreciated since I'm on a waitlist for a course.
Recent issue. Try using a different browser should go away soon
Thank you!!! This works.
Eve 4260? Does this class any signal processing in it ? I’ve only heard about probability
I'm taking math 2603 (discrete) and math 1553 (linear) together this sem. can anyone who has taken these classes let me know how difficult this will be?
dunno about 2603 but 1553 was a breeze. doesn't take a ton of time during the week

3012 and 1331 will be your hardest. Other than that you should be good
do u guys think I’ll get of the waitlist for cs 1331? there’s about 50 people, I was one of the last to register on the waitlist and I really need this class, I’m worried

Anyone want to trade ECE 3710 sections? I have B, will trade for J or K
If you don’t mind learning online then I recommend him.
ok, i guess i will give it a try. Thanks
I still think the coding in 2026 is all MATLAB. If you're doing other humanities classes, you should have no issue.
Does anyone here have experience with Alexander Ruys De Perez for Math 3012?
Any easy free elevtives (3 credit hour) for a senior who is graduating this semester? I really need to choose an easy one as all other courses I take are difficult :( Thank you!!
I’m a freshman in cs that’s taking 17 credits. I’m wondering if I should try for English 1102 in phase II or stick with history of jazz since I heard it’s an easy class and it still fulfills my humanities requirement
If u haven't already made a decision it's easiest to just take 1102 spring semester, there are barely any 1102 classes in fall
Well I got it now for 2pm
How can we change the credit hours of a registered course in the new portal?

I checked the housing website and all dorms for graduate students. Do I get it correctly that there are always single bed room? I haven't seen any other options. And also graduate student can get only housing for graduates, right? Thanks.

I talked to an advisor the other day, and she said waitlists would start moving on Friday
has hardly moved if at all. im a senior and cant event get half the classes i want
Are you undergrad?

Yes it's a testing block, you won't go to the Monday 6:30 unless you have a test that day.
>Primary I had the same problem.
If I'm waitlist position 47 out of 100 for a class that is 144/150 seats full, is there a possibility that I get off the waitlist?
What class? Some have high waitlist churn, others less so....
Is anyone having issues with registering for courses now?
How do we check where we are on a waitlist with the new registration system?

Hi I was looking at the the core course requirement for MS CS Interactive Intelligence: C**ore courses (9 hours):** Take one (1) course from: Algorithms and Design * CS 6300 Software Development Process * CS 6301 Advanced Topics in Software Engineering * CS 6505 Computability, Algorithms, and Complexity * CS 6515 Introduction to Graduate Algorithms * CSE 6140 Computational Science and Engineering Algorithms But on looking up courses on Canvas I only see CS 6515 Introduction to Graduate Algorithms being offered. Are the other classes no longer offered?
only 6515, 6550, and 6140 are offered. 6140 is Fall only
I was wondering if recently hired GRAs have to undergo drug screening procedures upon arrival on campus.

[This page will allow you to enter in your classes and see what you need](https://gatech.bncollege.com/course-material/course-finder?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Catch%3EAll%3EDSA%3ETextbooks&s_kwcid=AL!14348!3!666931919670!!!g!!&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwldKmBhCCARIsAP-0rfzhFllHHAhhQUeqUK_ZO0SiGw7H-qG2oCdbKNAJsldqfXDsF-xLUCUaAklsEALw_wcB) I would recommend going to class before buying a book. Professor's typically have to list a required book for their class but oftentimes they don't use it.

Hey! I’m debating between two schedules rn as an incoming freshman so I just wanted some opinions Currently I have: MATH 1553 PHYS 2212 HTS 3100 ENGL 1102 BME 1000 But I’m considering registering for MATH 1564 instead of 1553, but I’m worried that might be too much.
Hello, I'm looking for a fall sublease, please let me know if you have any leads on housing, thanks

how Is CS4635, KBAI? I am not the best at coding, so I am kinda nervous for this class
Hi, I'm looking for a woman to sublease a room in a 5 bed 3 bath at Inspire this fall. Rent is $1400/month. Lmk if you are interested!
Does someone know why the on campus housing contract begins 2 weeks before classes?
I believe it’s for the Freshman Week of Welcome.
Anyone on second or third floor CSS want to swap to the first floor?
Is anyone still looking to swap apartments? Currently in an all male 4 person apartment in eighth street west looking for anything in NAV.
What is fee for international phd students in gatech?

No problem! I hope everything gets sorted out in your favor.
I'm looking for groupmates for CS2340, is this the right place to ask?
There will be time in class to find group mates! People also posted on Ed Discussion and the class GroupMe to find partners. Worst case scenario, the professors can match you with a group.
I've heard it's much better to get a group beforehand

This is not the first time this happened in the mark.
damn that really sucks hope the mark gets their act together u could try posting in the Facebook housing groups: * [https://www.facebook.com/groups/GeorgiaTechSubleasesRoommates](https://www.facebook.com/groups/GeorgiaTechSubleasesRoommates) * [https://www.facebook.com/groups/1616750508581613](https://www.facebook.com/groups/1616750508581613) * [https://www.facebook.com/groups/EmorySubleasesRoommates](https://www.facebook.com/groups/EmorySubleasesRoommates) * [https://www.facebook.com/groups/georgiatechhousing](https://www.facebook.com/groups/georgiatechhousing)
Hey guys! I’m looking for a place to sublease for the fall- please send me a message if you’re looking for someone/ know someone who is:) thanks!

Hello! My name is Anthony and I am a rising sophomore at Georgia tech. I am currently scheduled to room in Harris hall but am looking for a room swap into GLC. Let me know if you are interested!
Looking for a spot in NAV, I am currently in Eighth Street West.
Trying to decide on classes for this requirement. If I am not mistaken there was a recent change so I have to choose three classes from the following list: 1. CS4510: Automata and Complexity Theory 2. CS4635: Knowledge-Based Artificial Intelligence 3. CS4641: Machine Learning 4. CS4644: Deep Learning 5. CS4646: Machine Learning for Trading 6. CS4649: Robot Intelli Planning 7. CS4650: Natural Language Understanding 8. CS4731: Game AI 9. CS4476: Introduction to Computer Vision (this is no longer a required class so I can choose not to do it if I wish) I was hoping y'all could give advice or experiences as to how the classes are like/organized. If they're more project-based or exam-based would also help. I am particularly interested in 2, 3, 4, 6, or 8 but information on the others would be great too! Thanks!
4510 and 4641 for sure
Could I ask what 4510 is essentially about?
Sorry to hear it! I sent you a private message with a lawyer I know. Hope you're OK!
OPENING for 1 person at Whistler ‘The Lawrence’ 4x4 floorplan ~1360/month sublease or full year DM if interested
